"Urghh, I'm stressing out for the cricket final this week. Not only do we have cricket on Saturday, but also our religion essays are due on Monday and I have a biology assessment next week." I collaspe on my stomach on Ryan's bed. I lift my head to read what Ryan wrote.
Just relax, you're going to be fine. You got biology in the bag. You can study for it in the weekend aswell. Just finish your essay. I feel the bed move beside me as he comes and sits next to me.
"I don't know how to though. I go to do it then I start thinking about the biology assessment and the cricket finals." I turn on to my back and see Ryan grinning down at me. He flashes his notepad in my face as I read his words.
You'll do great in cricket. We even have practice tomorrow and on Friday.
"Speaking of tomorrow. You have your therapy don't you."
Oh fuck the therapy. And I actually have a check up tomorrow instead. I'm getting a change in my prescription.
"You seem to hate therapy so much. It can't be that bad." I say trying not to remember Ryan storming out.
Ryan raises his eyebrows.
"Fine. I'm not even going to argue with you on this." I laugh. "Now I need to focus on getting ths essay done then winning the finals."
STOP STRESSING OUT. Look, Friday night I'm taking you out.
"What?" I say picking at a loose string on his shirt.
I'm taking you out on a date. Yep. I've been planning this out but I wasn't sure when. You need this. Friday night, 7. I'll pick you up.
"This is out of nowhere. But okayyy." I say smiling as I sit up. "May I ask where we are going?"
No. It's a surprise. He smiles slyly.
"So now I have to stress out on what to wear on this 'mystery date'?" I say pouting.
You look beautiful in anything. He goes to kiss me.
"No kisses unless you tell me." I say firmly. Ryan smirks then begins to tickle me. "No. NOT AGAIN." I squeal and giggle as I jolt around. "I'm kidding. I'll give you a kiss." I laugh out of breath. He stops and kisses me slowly. He pulls away teasing me.
Go finish your essay.
"You're so fucking evil." I pout playfully before making my way over to the desk.
*Friday Evening- 5:00pm*
"Is there any chance at all that you'll give me a hint of where we're going?"
Ryan shakes his head smirking. "Come on." I step closer to him smiling sweetly playing with the collar of his cricket shirt.
Wear a dress. I'll see you at 7. He walks down the steps before I can question him further.
A dress. I think to myself, hmmm. I run up the stairs wincing from my sore muscles. Cricket practice was extremely tiring and sweaty. I needed a shower.
I take a quick shower and hop out drying myself quickly with a towel. I walk towards my wardrobe. I look through my dresses and find an off the shoulder lace dress. It was light blue and wasn't too long or short. It was perfect!
I slip it on and lightly put on mascara, eye liner and I decide to stick with a simple lip gloss. I turn on my curling iron and as I wait for it to heat up I yell to Vi.
"Vi. I have a date with Ryan tonight so I won't be here."
"Oooh. Fun. And I won't be home either, remember, I told you yesterday I have a work dinner tonight." My confused expression makes her laugh. "I swear you never hear half the things I say."
