"Hey hoe." Emily smiles brightly at me as I close my locker. I hate Wednesdays, it was like the middle of the week and I just wanted the weekend to come so I could continue to stay in bed all day.
"Hi."I weakly smile.
"So, what is this argument I have heard about?" Emily asks seriously.
"Urgh. He told you."
"Drake's my boyfriend. So yes he did. And don't think I haven't noticed you both haven't spoken to each other all week. Spill. I need to hear both sides." Emily pesters.
"He told me to visit Ryan cause he thinks I should get a full explanation. He doesn't believe Ryan did it. He thinks Brandon did. That sums it up for me."
"Oh."
"Yes oh. I decided to listen to him partially. Not for an explanation, but I wanted a reason. I visited him on Saturday with Brandon. And that went shit."
"Awwww. I'm afraid I'm not the best at advice in these situations. But, whether Drake was being a pushy asshole. Just know he only cares and wants the best."
"Thanks Em." I give her a hug as the bell goes. "I'll see you at recess."
"Yes. You two need to sort this out kay?"
"Maybeee." I call across the hallway. I could be stubborn when I wanted to be.

I lug my books to the picnic table and recess to see only one person sitting there.
Drake.
"Hi." He says softly.
"Hi." I sigh. I had to apologise sooner or later. "I'm really sorry. I was such a bitch to you. I know you only wanted to help me. And you probably knew him better then me, it's your opinion and I should've respected that. I'm just really sorry." I tear up as I realise how much of a shit I was to him.
"Hey. Come here, it's okay. I forgive you. I should've kept my mouth shut. It was dumb of me to state my opinion. And...." He seems to hesitate before continuing. "I'm sorry for just pointing the finger at Brandon, I don't even have proof." I steps over to him and he pulls me into a side hug.
"It's okay. I forgive you too. Just...I can never say how thankful I am to all of you guys as in Laila and Emily too. You've all helped me so much. So me shouting at you wasn't very appreciative."
Drake chuckles, "It's okay."
I sigh in relief as Emily and Laila join us. I'm glad Drake was so easy going about putting the fight behind us. I didn't want to lose one of my best friends. I'd lost enough people.
"What do you say to that Cassie?" Laila's voice pulls me out of my thoughts.
"Hmmm?" I perk my head up.
"Go to freestyle this arvo?"
"Yeah. Sure."
"Urghh fuck. I can't go. I got work. I'm going through all the paperwork and shit on previous car repairs at work. It dates back to like more than a year ago. I was meant to start doing them last Thursday, but I put it off." Drake groans.
"Awww. You butt." Emily says pouting.
"Sorry Em. I promise I'll take you out Friday." Drake says sincerely. Emily nods and kisses him. I look away awkwardly.
"Eww. Guys. Keep it fucking PG13."Laila swears loudly.
"Excuse me. PG13 my ass. You can't talk. What about you and dear Flynn?" Drakes scoffs laughing.
