I was only 3 years old when it happened, so I can't say I remember much. All I can say is I never thought I'd grow up to love a band so much, and when I had learned that I had been alive at the same time as George was incredible.
It's crazy how such a small details like that can mean so much.
But anyway, 15 years later, I'm 18 now, and feeling beyond happy for the recognition to such an amazing human being, but profoundly saddened because of the reason for remembrance today, of all days.
15 years ago today, we lost one of the most legendary and influential musicians of all time, and heaven gained an incredibly talented (which is an understatement) angel.
