Chapter 39

"Go. Away!" I shouted because for some reason Nick has decided to wake me up extra early today.

"No. Now get your fat ass up!" He shouted back whilst trying to pull me out of bed by my arm.

"Neeeeh let me sleep, its..." I paused looking over to my clock. "3:00 a.m holy shit, what the fuck Nick, why would you wake me up so early?!" I shouted, then threw my pillow at him.

"You'll see, now get up you ass." He said final deciding to lift me off my bed and carry me downstairs.

"Mind telling me exactly why you woke me up so early?" I asked angrily.

"It's Alec's birthday." He said as if that's all I needed to understand the situation.

"So?"

"So, were going to give him a surprise party at our house and we need to think about it." He said making this sound normal.

"Remind me why we're doing this, I mean we never do anything for each others birthday so why do it now."

"Because it's my senior year Kayla, I'm having a party, and what better day to have it other then one of our best friends birthdays." He said smirking.

"Ok, as much as I'd love to do this now, I hate mornings, and we still have all day, so get some sleep and we'll think about it in the morning." I said beginning to walk back upstairs.

"Fine. But if this turns out horribly I'm blaming you-"

"I don't care, and the last time we went to a party some douche bag stole my first kiss so I'm not very fond of parties." I said as I reached my door.

"What?" Nick asked jogging up the stairs.

"I said, some douche bag stole my first kiss so I'm not very fond of parties." I said looking back at him.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked sincerely.

"Because I didn't think you'd care-"

"Kay, of course if care." He said honestly.

"It's no big deal, you shouldn't care." I said looking down.

"But I do, your first kiss should have been something special, not something you had with a person from a party."

"Well it's nothing now, plus, I had more kisses after that so I just forgot." I said as I began to go back upstairs.

"Ok, but were still having the party!" He called out as I reached the top of the stairs.

"Whatever!" I shouted back going in my room slamming the door and falling back into my bed.

It was finally a suitable time to wake up so I got up from bed and got dressed for school. I put on a black sunflower shirt, some high-waisted ripped shorts, my leather jacket and my black converse.

Once I was ready I went downstairs and saw that Nick had already left for school so I ate breakfast and went off to school.

I just got to school and saw that the guys were there waiting for me, including Aaron. Yay!

"Hillo!" I said as I do my usual thing jumping on top of Alec's back. "Happy birthday!" I said excitedly as I gave Alec a back hug.

"Thanks, but I could have felt with out not jumping on my back today." He said as he grabbed on to my legs.

"Like I said yesterday, you should have expected this." I said smirking while patting his head.

He just rolled his eyes and said, "Not today."
