Chapter 51
(Previously)The rest of the school day went well now I have to go wait for Jax to finish soccer practice.
(Now)
"Get to doing laps, you guys got ten minutes, GO!" Coach yelled at the guys then blowing his whistle as he started the time.
"Hey Kayla, how you been doing?" He asked taking a seat next to me as I sat on the bleachers doing homework.
"I'm doing fine, how've you been doing coach?" I asked looking up to see him watching the guys as they ran.
Same ol same ol." He replied jokingly.
Coach is something else. Well at least that's what I think, he's treated me and Nick as if we were his own kids, believe it or not underneath that annoyingly loud coach aura he puts out, he's awesome, I treat him as if he was my dad or I guess uncle, since my parents were never home coach would always come check up on us, but he says since we've "matured" we don't need that anymore so we only see him at school now, but either way I'm still glad he's here.
"Listen coach, in sorry I had to quit the team, I guess this year, it just isn't feel right." I said quietly, one thing I knew about coach was that he loved soccer, I feel like I let him down when I quit, and I definitely don't want that.
"Oh Kayla, its fine, I understand, but remember, I'm still gonna always be there for you when you need me, whether your on the team or not." He laughed patting my shoulder then getting back up.
I looked up seeing the guys jogging past, I spotted Alec and he playfully winked at me. I rolled my eyes and got back to doing my homework.
After school Aaron had to leave for work and so, well, here we are.
I honestly want to just leave already, I mean it's kinda strange how I just came to their practice to wait until Jax could take me to his house in order to talk about my past.
I'm honestly scared to see his reaction when he finds out about everything, it's already too much for me to handle but what about him, but then again, would he even care?
"Alright that's enough, we're doing teams! Jax and Chase your coaches, pick your teams!" Coach ordered as the guys came over to get their waters.
<minutes latter>
"But you have more!"
"Deal with it."
"Coach can you just tell him that he can't have one more player then my team." Chase whined as he had an annoyed look on his face. Chase and Jax have been fighting for the past five minutes over how Jax's team has one more player than Chase's, I actually can't believe how Chase is acting over this, it's stupid!
