Chapter 81
"Can we eat?"
"You can, I already ate."
"But I wanna eat with you."
"Why don't I make you something and I'll sit down with you?"
"But I don't want you to make something for me, that's just not right." Our small bickering was starting to get annoying. Jax was hungry and I wasn't, but I wanted to make him something so I ignored his comment and made my way up to the kitchen. (A/N: Remember that Jax's bedroom is in the basement.)
"Hey, why'd you leave me?" He whined as I walked up the stairs.
"Because I'm making you something." I heard his footsteps behind me.
"But-"
"Nope, I'm making you something, just let it be." I reached the kitchen and started shuffling through the cabinets.
"Okay." He said and I turned around for a second to see him leaning against the counter.
I proceeded to look for different ingredients and then I went to the stove.
"I'm making you grilled cheese." I heard him chuckle. "That ok?"
"Yeah, it's perfect." This time his voice was right behind me. His breath was warm on my neck as I stood facing the stove and him facing my back.
"G-good." I stuttered. He was up to something.
A few seconds had passed before he wrapped his arms around me from behind. I tried to push him away, but being realistic, I wanted nothing more but to be back downstairs and cuddle him.
"What's wrong?" He whispered, I could just hear the smirk in his voice. Then I snapped back into reality.
"Oh, no no no Mr. You are not doing that, now now." I gently pushed him away, but he came right back.
"But I want you." He said in a fake pouty voice.
"Maybe later." And then I noticed something. I chuckled, "Or maybe when you're not too excited." I was still chuckling. He pulled away.
"Shit." I turned around to see him turning around so that I wouldn't see his..."excitement".
"Go back downstairs. I'll be over there when I'm done." I walked over to him with a spatula in hand. I gently kissed him on the cheek, then the other, then his nose, and then his jaw.
