I was still just being held by Jax when he pulled away. Part of me missed his feeling and part of me was curious as to why.
"Maybe I should go get Chase to deal with this, he would probably make you feel better" he began to move away from me, but I held onto his arm.
"Don't"
"Why? You don't need me"
"Yes, I do" I said my voice barely loud enough for him to hear.
"Chase would still help you mo-"
"Chase is buzzed, he won't even understand what I'm saying"
"No, I can't help you, I don't know how" he said as he continued to try and leave. I pulled him back. I hugged him once again.
"Thai is how you help, just be there, be here, now" I whispered into his shirt as I hugged him. He was tensed up at first but then I guess he finally came to his senses, he hugged me back.
"Okay I'll stay, but why don't we go somewhere else, you know where your not going to be freezing your butt off."
I smiled and chuckled s little from his remark, "yeah, that would be fine" • • • We went back to my place, nobody would be there so it was perfect. I only wanted to be with one person who could comfort me and that's it.
"Hey why don't you go change, it might make you feel better?" Asked Jax as we walked into my room.
"Uh sure" I said as I walked over to my closet.
I went in and put on a pair of flannel shorts and a plain white shirt. The only thing is, I could only find a black bra so the bra was able to be seen. Ugh.

I went out of my closet and could not find Jax. I met into my bathroom to see if he was there and sure enough, he was.
"Hey, what are you doing in here?" I asked, a confused look on my face.
"Oh, I was just uh, well rinsing my face, it's a thing I do when I need to refresh myself."
"Ok, well I'll be in my room, just tell me if you need something?"
"Wait, Kayla"
"Yeah?"
"Umm...are you sure you want me to stay?"
I smiled at his question, "No Jax I don't want you to stay" I paused for a moment and swore that I saw a frown on his face." Jax I need you to stay" I said and his smile grew bigger, I honk I might have even seen him blush.
"Okay, well I'll be right there"
"Good" I replied, a smile on my face.
He came out of there bathroom with a huge smile on his face still. I was on my computer. Well getting off my computer. He had sat down on my bed. I went over to him and jumped on his back to where I was sort of talking him.
Somehow I ended up right next to him.
"Kayla?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you feel better, you know about the whole Jason thing?"
"Yeah, I am, thanks"
He didn't respond he just nodded.
"Jax?"
"Yeah?"
"I told you that you could make me feel better" I said not being able to resist my smile.
"I'm glad I could" he said as he sat up from my bed.
"Hey you know what?" He asked as he looked at me.
"What?" I asked being conscious.
"We never finished out twenty questions game" he said with a giant smile on his face.
"Okay... I guess we can finish"
"Alright, what happened the last time you went to a party with the guys?"
"Umm...okay, do I have to say it or do I get one skip?"
"Nope, no skips"
"Ugh... fine, the last time we went to a party the guys got really drunk and they came up to me. I kind of had a crush on this guy and they all knew it." I stopped hoping I didn't have to continue.
"And?" He said motioning for me to continue.
"And so the guys went up to my crush and said, well, they told him that I liked him and that he should 'totally' go out with me" I said starting to feel embarrassed.
Jax started laughing his brains out. I soon joined him because I realized ho stupid this story was.
"They actually did that?" I nodded "Wow" he said still laughing nonstop.
"Anything else I should know before I go to another party with them?"
I shook my head smiling.
"Okay your turn" he said looking at me. I laid back on my bed and rested facing the ceiling.
"Hmm...oh, why did you decide to come to Gregory this year, why did you come here?"
"Well that's a difficult situation, can we do that another time?"
"No, you wouldn't let me skip" I said teasing him. "Yeah, sure, it's fine"
