Chapter 44

"You did this for Jax too?" Aaron asked making me freeze in place at how stupid I could be to mention that.

"U-uhh who said I did?" I asked clearly trying to act as if I didn't mutter it under my breath.

"Kayla, I just heard you say that, just tell me the truth." He said sitting up and looking me dead in the eyes.

"Fine, I did do this for Jax, i-it was different though, can we just- can I just finish cleaning this." I said pointing to the wound that was on his torso.

"Yeah, just hurry up, I should get home."

I nodded my head and cleaned up his wound.

After I finished with Aaron he went home, I think he was mad at me, but besides that, the guys and their little toys are still here I'm just upstairs in my room. Well at least I can say hat I have my music, I'm currently using my speakers to play my favorite playlist that for some reason I titled "Eh."

*knock* *knock* *knock*

"You can't come in!" I said to whoever was knocking on my door.

"Well I'm coming in anyways!" They replied walking in as I walked over to my desk and went on my laptop.

"Go away!" I said still not looking at whoever this was.

"Make me." They said turning off my music and getting me annoyed.

"Dude just go back to sucking the face off of your little toy, oh I'm sorry I meant girlfriend or whatever the hell she is!" I shouted angrily turning around to see a shocked Nick with his arms crossed over his chest.

"You okay?" He asked weirdly as I felt angry enough to strangle someone.

"Yeah, I'm fine, get out." I said annoyed.

"Look, Jax told me about what happened, I just wanted to know if your okay-"

"I'm fine, just go, I'll be fine." I said on the edge of exploding, I don't know why I'm so angry but I guess I just need some space.

"Ok, I'll leave, but can I ask one thing?"

"You already have so go ahead."

"Well I was wondering." He rubbed the back of his neck nervously. "Is there something going on between you two?" He spat out.

"Eww, with Jax? Eww hell no, can you just get out." I said pushing him out.

"Ok ok, I'm leaving, but can I get a hug first, I think you need one."

"I do. And I'm sorry." I said walking over to him and wrapping my arms around him, "Thank you." I said nuzzling my head into his shirt.

"Anytime, I'm here for you, and you know it, ok, just tell me if you need anything, oh and you can come downstairs now, the girls are gone." He assured me pulling away and walking out of my room.

I went back to my bed and just stared at the sealing, thinking.

After a few minutes I decided to play some music and so I grabbed my phone and plugged in my ear buds playing All Time Low a newly found band in my experience.

"I hope Aaron's okay, I wish I was with him." God why did I have to bring up Jax with him?

"Oh god, I feel like barf." I groaned annoyed at the sudden sunlight hitting my face as I turned over.

"Wake up, rise and shine, in other words, get your lazy ass up." I heard a voice say walking into my room and dragging me out of bed as I kept my eyes closed.

"No, go away." I muttered still halfway asleep.

"But we have school, remember? And you get to see your little boy toy."

"I don't have a boy to- oh, you mean Aaron, he's not my boy toy."

"Whatever now get dressed." I got up and realized that it was Chase who was talking to me.

"What are you doing here anyways, and didn't you have your own little toy last night." I said glaring at him.

"Yeah, so why do you care, you were with Aaron anyways."

"Wow okay, rude much, get out, I'll get ready just get out, and don't wait for me, I'll take my car."

"Nick already took your car so your stuck with me, now get ready and we can go." He ordered making me annoyed with how stupid he's being right now.

"Ok go away."

He left my room and I went into my closet to get something to wear. I randomly found a black lace crop top making sure that it didn't show my tattoo, I also put on some light washed jeans, white converse and my wonderful black leather jacket.

"Bye Chase." I said walking out of the house right past him even though he gave me a weird look.

"Where are you going?" He asked following me out of he house.

"To school."

"Yeah well I'm driving so get in." He ordered as if I'd actually listen to him right now.

"Who said I was going with you?" I asked walking straight past the car and beginning to walk to school.

"Kayla, don't be stupid, just get in the car."

"Oh, so now I'm stupid, you really wanna go there Chase, you know what just- just go to school and I'll see you there."

"Kayla. Get. In. The car." He said sternly once again.

"Make me." I said crossing my arms over my chest and continuing to walk down the sidewalk.

"You said it..." He then got out of the car and walked over to me picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder as he carried me to the passenger seat.

"Chase put me down, right now!" I shouted punching his back as hard as I could.

"I hope you know that doesn't hurt." He said opening the door and putting me on the seat.

"Whatever just put me down!" I said as he slammed the door in my face before I could get out.

"Now let's go." He smiled happily as if nothing just happened.

"Jerk."

"I'm sorry what?" He asked sarcastically cupping his ear.

"I said your a jerk!" I shouted in his ear making him grain in pain and me smile in pleasure.

"Ok, I get it, shut up now." He said angrily.

"You asked." I replied looking out the window.

"Whatever." He said angrily once again.

This is going to be yet another long day.
