Chapter 54

"So why exactly did you run out of the class?" Asked Blake after Jax and I had finished telling him about the day where Jax called me a bitch during school and I went out of the class.

"I don't know, I was just upset with him." I laughed thinking over the memory.

"Bro, why would you do that?" He asks now turning to look at Jax.

We are currently all sprawled out on the carpet of their living room inside of the fort that we made out of pillows and blankets. We have been here facing the ceiling and eating grapes for over an hour, but I'm not complaining. These two are actually fun to hang out with once you get past Jax's annoying self and Blake's stupid pick up lines.

Jax decided not to answer Blake's question, instead he changed the subject.

"So Blake, any ladies in your life?" He asked scratching the back of his neck nervously.

"Nope, this handsome man is all single." He smirked sending me a wink.

"Your such a perv." I said lightly swatting his shoulder.

"I'm not a perv, I just enjoy observing ladies." He smirked again wiggling his brows at me suggestively.

"Weirdo." I shot at him.

"Pop-corn." He winked.

We all laughed then went back to laying on our backs. I stared at the ceiling through our fort thinking over what's happened since Jax came into my life. All I thought about was, I don't know, but I do know that there weren't many happy moments.

After various moments of me looking at the ceiling, one of them finally flickered off the light that lit up our for, I went peacefully to sleep as I heard rain still hitting the window.

"Wake up sugar plum." A voice said as they shook me awake.

I opened my eyes to see a messy haired Blake smiling down at me.

"Morning." I smiled. "And don't call me sugar plum." I laughed getting up as he moved away from me.

"Morning, Kay!" I head another voice shot from outside of the fort that I was still in.

I guessed that it was Jax, "Morning Jax!" I shouted back.

"Guess again." Did the same voice popping his head inside of the fort. It was Nick.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked confusion coursing through me.

"Well, I came because I want to take you to school, so get ready." He orders making me roll my eyes and crawl out of the fort.

"Where's Jax?" I asked looking around the house.

"He's in the shower." Said Blake as he came crawling out of the fort.

"Cool, so what are you doing today?" I asked looking at him.

"I'm going to school with you guys, what else." He said making my eyes widen.
