Chapter 33
(Previously)

"I think you guys should just talk it out." He said gesturing over to my other side where I saw Jax looking at me.

"I guess so." I said as I he let go of me and got up. I stayed on the ground waiting for Jax to come over and sit next to me. Tyler was now walking back to class and Jax was walking towards me.

"Hey." Was all he could say. Are you kidding me?!

"Hey? Hey! Your kidding right?! No! Your explains to me why exactly your pissed off since this morning, and why you decided that shouting at me if front of the whole class was a good idea!" I yelled at him as I got up and looked at him sitting down against the lockers.

"Kay I-I..." he said possible for a long time I decided to interrupt.

"What? You what?" I said still sounding angry but my voice lowering a little.

"You wouldn't understand okay. You just wouldn't." He said looking down. I sat back down next to him.

"Just tell me. At least let me try and understand." I said turning my head to look at him but he still wouldn't look at me.

"I can't."

"Why not?"

"I just-its just-I don't want you to look at me differently."

"Why would I do that?"

"Because if I tell you what's wrong it will make you look at me differently."

"I doubt that."

"How are you so sure?"

"Because I'm not gay kind of person. Because I know that whatever happened I know it's probably not your fault. Because I know that whatever it is that you think is so bad to not tell me, is not going to change how I feel about you." I said looking into his eyes as he lifted his head.

"Are you sure?" He asked still looking at me.

"I'm sure." I assured him patting his shoulder.

"Ok, so I told you how my parents are hardly ever home?" I nodded my head and he continued, "Well yesterday they came home, well actually it was just my dad and he-well he was sort of drunk. He came in the house and started saying stuff like I'm useless and that I can't do anything, so I just sat there and listened, but then he came up to me and he pushed me. He started-umm...he started to kick me, and he just wouldn't stop until I was unconscious. A-and when I woke up he was gone and I-"

"Hey it's fine, you don't have to say the rest. Come here." I said pulling him close for a hug. I don't know what happened but when we pulled away he flinched in pain. "Are you okay?" I asked looking at him confused.

"Yeah I'm fine." He replied wincing in pain, for some reason I didn't believe him.

"Get up." I told him while I started getting up.
