Chapter 69My eyes flutter open only to notice a heavy arm draped around my waist. Coming to realization with what exactly happened last night, I shift wanting to get up. But the arm around me wouldn't let me go so I quickly replace my body with a fluffy pillow. Slipping out of Jax's grasp I turn to look at him. Why? Why me? There was no reason for him to like me. I really hope that he just didn't know what he was talking about last night, I don't know how I feel about him.
Then I remembered the reason I came here last night. I went out of Jax's room and upstairs. I looked around the house seeing that it was peaceful and quiet. Where's Blake? I walked up the other flight of stairs leading to the second floor. I don't want to be here when Jax wakes up.
I would wait till he wakes up so he could take me home but I don't feel like having that awkwardness between us at the moment. I mean don't get me wrong, we're definitely talking about this later, but it's too much for me to handle right now. I walked down the hall looking for Jax. Looking into the room on the far right of the hallway I hear snoring, I already know who that is.
"Blake?" I whisper yelled. He mumbled something in his sleep not waking up.
"Blake." I stepped into his room waking over to the side of his bed.
"Blaakeeeeee." I said sitting next to him on the bed. Yet he still didn't wake up, ok I'm done being patient. I looked around the room and saw just what I was looking for.
"Blake wake up." I poured a water bottle on his head and he jumped up.
"What the- Kayla? What the hell!" He seemed angry, I wonder why.
"Don't yell your brother's still sleeping." I chuckled standing up.
"Well still, why the fuck did you decide to pour water on me?" He whisper yelled.
"Language mister, and I poured water on you because I wanted you to wake up sugar plum." I smirked remembering when he called me that the last time I was here.
"Whatever. What do you want anyways?" He said standing up- may I add- standing up and showing off his abs. I could feel my eyes widen and I quickly looked away, my face turning the color of a baboons butt in the process.
"Why is it that you must assume I want something?" I huffed crossing my arms.
"Are you for real right now?" I sighed rolling my eyes.
"Fine. I need a ride home." I bit my lip hoping he would actually take the time to give me a ride home.
"Why can't Jax just take you when he wakes up?" I sighed.
"Because he's kinda the reason I want to leave right now." I looked down playing with the hem of my shirt.
"What did he do?" I looked up seeing that Blake was standing in front of me, now with a shirt on, having a hard look on his face. "Jax may be my brother but he even so much as laid a hand on you, or hurt you, I'll kick his ass." I felt my lips twitch up into a small smile as I shook my head.
"No, he didn't hurt me or anything, he just said something, and I'm not sure I really want face the awkwardness of it when he wakes up." Blake nodded putting his shoes on.
"Yeah I'll give you a ride." I could tell he didn't want ask what Jax said, but knew that eventually he would.
I smiled then went back downstairs and back into the basement, quietly grabbing my things and leaving with Blake before Jax could wake up.
