Chapter 42
"Thanks for saving me." I said as I got into Angie's car.
"No prob, sooo-"
"Yes we're going to the mall." I said making her squeal in excitement.
"Yay!" She said driving off.
"Your so strange."
"But you love it." She said happily making me chuckle.
"I do." I agreed.
15 minutes latter
"Where are we going first?" Angie asked as we stepped foot inside the mall.
"Food?" I asked looking at her hopefully.
"How did you read my mind?" She asked jokingly.
"Just a thought." I chuckled as we walked over to the food court.
"What do you want to eat?" She asked knowingly.
I smiled. "Pizza." We both said in unison.
"Well I guess that answered the question." She said walking over to the pizza place with me.
"Hey why don't you order and I'll go get us a seat." I said once she got in the long line.
"Sure, you want the usual right?" She asked.
I nodded and turned to go get us a seat.
As I walked over to an empty table I heard my phone buzz.

I look up from my phone and see Angie walking towards me.
"Hey" I said as she came to sit down.
"Hey, here's a slice of pepperoni for my peppy friend." She said handing me a plate.
"Really? Peppy? What does that even mean?" I asked chuckling.
"I don't know, can we just eat?"
"K." I said taking a bite.
"So, I've been meaning to ask, uhh... is there anything going on with you and Jax?" She asked consciously.
"Your kidding right? God no. That'd be horrifying." I laughed.
"Really?" She asked raising an eyebrow.
"Really, nothing is going on between us and nothing ever will, we don't like each other like that, plus... I kinda have something going on with Aaron." I said smiling at the thought of Aaron.
"Ok, well what about you and Chase?" She asked making my eyes widen in surprise.
"Uhh... n-no w-why would you ask?" I stammered.
"Ok, you stuttered, what's up?" She asked seriously.
"Well you see... I used to have feelings for him- but those are gone now, and that, I'm serious about." I said seriously.
