Chapter 45
"God, shut up already!"
"Well then tell me why!"
"It's none of your business!"
"Your my best friend of course it is!"
"No, it's not, so stop acting like it is!"
I'm currently arguing with Chase about my relationship with Aaron. I know your probably wondering why he cares, well he wants to know why Aaron was in the guest room with me last night since Jax just had to tell him about the little encounter.
"Kay, just tell me, why was he there, and why did he have blood on him?" He's seriously annoying me right now, I guess he was mad this morning because he says I should have told him what happened with Aaron. Well I don't feel like talking about it, Aaron's still mad at me, for some god unknown reason.
"Chase, can you just let this slide, I'll tell you latter, I need to do something right now, just please, leave me alone." I said getting up with my tray and sitting down at another table.
In case your wondering, it's lunch time at school and this is the time where Chase just decides to yell at me, so yeah, there's people staring at us right now. I'm not annoyed whatsoever, but please, note the sarcasm.
"Kay, wait-" someone started.
"Nope, stay away, go back with Chase, I'll be fine." I said not even turning to look at them.
"Kay I'm staying here with you." They said taking a seat next to me as I continued to not look at them.
"I don't care, if Chase wants to be that way let him. It's not like he's my best friend and I'd expect him to understand or anything." I stated sarcastically.
"He'll get over it, just talk to me." They said making me look up and roll my eyes once I'd realized it was Jax.
"You know what, I think I might just skip lunch, or better yet, skip the rest of school." I said getting up with my tray and walking towards the trash can.
I was about to walk out of the cafeteria before I felt a strong hand grip my arm.
"Let. Go." I muttered looking down angrily.
"No, your coming with me." He said sternly as he pulled me back over to the lunch table with Chase there.
"No, I'm not, just let go of me." I said sternly turning around to face him.
"Kayla, stop being so arrogant and just come with me." He replied strictly.
"You know what, no, gosh your so full of yourself, you probably don't even know what we were arguing about! I suggest you just leave me alone and mind your own business." I said annoyed at the situation.
I turned back around yanking my arm away from him in the process, leaving him with a shocked expression on his face as I stomped out of the cafeteria.
"Kay, wait!" I heard someone call after me. Thank god, I can't deal with any of the guys right now.
I stoped in the middle of the hallway waiting for her to catch up with me, I knew it was Angie, she's always there for me.
"Kay, it's ok, I'm here." She said walking in front of me and enveloping me in a huge bear hug.
"I just, it's-" I began but go cut off by Angie's soothing voice.
"Shh, it's okay, calm down. You'll be fine, you just need some space from them, how about I call Emma and we can spend he night at her house?" She asked making me feel better but by bit.
"I'd like that." I agreed shaking my head and pulling away from the hug as she grabbed her phone immediately.
It's times like these where all I need is a little time with my best friend and my favorite cousin/sister.
"She said she'll be here after school to pick us up." She said making me smile and give her another hug.
"Great. Thanks." I said pulling away just as the bell rang for us to go to our next class.
Great, this had to be the class that I have with Jax. Once again, note the sarcasm because it's there, a lot of it.

I'm currently walking to my second to last class and of course it's the one with Jax in it."Good after noon students, today I will be checking up on you and your partners go see how your doing with the video project."
I mentally face palmed myself for being an idiot suck as to forget that Jax and I haven't finished yet.
"Kay, you do realize you have to talk to me right?" He asked trying to get my attention for like the hundredth time, okay maybe I'm exaggerating but what do you expect it's annoying.
"No, I won't and I don't want to." I said sternly going back to writing down the instructions for what we have to do on the board.
"Just talk to me, please, I didn't mean to upset you or whatever, please, just talk to me?" He pleaded sounding genuinely sorry.
"Why should I talk to you, give me one good reason." I said looking at him with the angriest glare I could muster.
"I-uh... because I didn't mean to do anything, I was just- just- trying to talk to you, I wanted to know what happened." He said trying to convince me.
"Then why were you forcing me back to the table?" I asked my voice beginning to crack.
"Because I wanted to know what made you-" He paused thinking if he should actually say something. "Because I wanted to know what got you so upset, or what even cause the fight with you and Chase." He said making me wonder if that's what he was actually going to say in the first place.
"You should know, it was what you told him, you know, how you told him about what you saw when you walked into the guest room. That's what cause our little 'argument'." I said making realization hit him.
"Ms. Morgan, Mr. Adams, how are you doing on your project?" Mrs. whatever her name was said walking up to us.
"It's going great." I said looking at Jax.
"Great, I expect good things from you two." She said before walking over to the people behind us.
"So, are we talking now?" Jax asked looking me dead in the eyes.
"I don't know, I just-just have too muc on my mind right now. I need to think, but I'll tell you after I get everything settled out."
"I understand." He said nodding and getting back to work.

It's finally after school and I get to go to Em's house with Angie. Thank god, a guy free place, well except for possibly Luke, Em's older brother, also known as my older cousin. But he's alright, as long as it's not any other guys."How you doing sweety?" Asked Em as I got into her car with Angie shortly behind me.
"Not so good." I said giving her a side hug as she began to drive.
"Well, we're going to fix that. Just wait." She said making me smile and fell better as we continued on our way to her house.
I guess a girl day after school is all I need.
