Maika's POV

At that moment... I thought I am really going to die!

Good thing...

Bigla nalang lumitaw si Blue sa gilid niya saka sinipa sa mukha. Agad na tumilapon yung lalaki sa malayo.

I fell on the ground because my knees are really trembling. Urgh! I felt this terrible feelings again! Both my hands are shaking! Damn!

Why am I so afraid to die??

Napapikit ako dahil naaalala ko ang mukha nung lalaki kanina. He might have killed me now if Blue did not stopped him.

"Maika..." tinawag ni Blue ang pangalan ko. Hindi ako dumilat. Sobrang bilis kasi ng tibok ng puso ko and I can't breath properly. Naramdaman ko ang pagtapik ni Blue sa ulo ko. "Don't worry I totally won't let him touch you okay? You won't die, got that?" napadilat ako sa sinabi ni Blue.

I didn't expect to hear that from him. He might be always kind but he's not that expressive type of a person. So, it's so rare to hear words like that from him, well he might always saying that to Miya though.

Bigla nalang siyang lumingon saakin with a warm smile. "Because if I let that happen, Kae will probably scold me." he said. Natigilan ako saglit then...

My lips form a smile.

"Yeah, for sure."

"Alright. I'll be your shield from here on, okay? A gratitude from saving me earlier." nagthumbs up siya saakin habang nakangiti. He really likes to smile, wasn't he?

Itinukod niya ang lance niya tapos nagcreate yun ng malaking shield habang nakapaloob ako dun. What amaze me is... the shield is gold, colour gold. Wow. It's from his lance. It's the first time I saw such barrier. It's so powerful and bright.

Ah wait! If the lance will be my shield, how about him?? Kailangan niya ang lance niya!

"Blue! Anong gagamitin mong sandata?! This is your weapon! I can protect myself okay?!" lumapit ako sa barrier pero hindi ko ito mahawakan. Damn! What is he planning to do?!! "Are you planning to suicide?!" sigaw ko.

Hindi pupwedeng hindi niya gamitin ang lance niya, he'll be in trouble when he didn't use the lance!

"I am good at using sword so this will be just a piece of cake." natawa siya pero sumeryoso lang ako. I'm being serious here tapos tatawanan niya lang ako? Tss. Tumigil naman siya sa pagtawa tapos umubo ng mahina. "I'll do my best to beat him."

"You're being reckless Blue, don't you know that?!" I yelled. Nakakainis! Why would he risk his life just to give me a shield! Baka mapano pa siya! Pwede naman kaming humingi ng tulong sa iba eh!!

Tricia and prince Alexios are just around here!

Tumingin tingin ako sa paligid pero hindi ko na sila makita. Mga kawal ng kalaban at ng Wuisan kingdom lang na naglalaban laban ang nakikita ko.

Those two! Where the heck did they go?! Sht! In such times like this, saka pa sila nawala!

"Stop worrying Maiks, after all I am the child of a legendary shaman and vampire." he proudly said to me. I suddenly stop from thinking.

Damn. That totally hit me.

Wala na akong nasabi. Maybe I am just worrying too much dahil ako ang pinoprotektahan niya. He's tough, he's strong and powerful.

Then what am I worrying about? Did I belittle him?

"Really a reckless asshole." bulong ko. Umiling ako pero hindi na ako nagreklamo.
