Miya's POV

"Maikaaa~ What sort of scheme was that?" tanong ko for the nth time. Sinamaan ako ni Maika kaya ngumuso ako.

Okay. I've been bugging her since lunch break started about what happened earlier. It's just that... Hugo and I aren't in good terms, and he's not even talking to me! How can we work together if we're like this??

"Why Miya? Don't you like the idea? This is a good chance to ask him whatever is bothering you." Tricia said.

Tumingin ako sa kanya. "Yes, a chance. But the effin' problem is that, he's not talking to me! Baka magmukha lang akong tanga sa harap niya." sagot ko. Kumuha ako ng tubig para inumin dahil pakiramdam ko matutuyuan ako ng lalamunan sa kanilang dalawa. Gusto ko naman kasi talaga siyang makausap, IF he wants to talk to me. Eh kaso mukhang mas gugustuhin pa niyang mapanis ang laway niya maiwasan lang akong kausapin!

Urgh! That sucks!

"Duh? Don't be nega here Miya! You're not yet even trying!" hindi ko alam na ganito pala kadaldal at kapushy si Tricia. Napakapositive niya pagdating sa love life namin ni Maika.

"At wala ka ng magagawa kahit magreklamo ka Miya. It's all settled so deal with it. Bear not talking to him until the end o kaya hanggang sa mamuti ang mga mata niyo parehas." marahas na sabi ni Maika. Pero mas malala ang babaeng to. Why is she only sweet with Asul, but not with me? Huhu.

Ang tanging nagawa ko lang ay ang ngumuso dahil ano naman ang laban ko sa kanilang dalawa. Pagdating sakin palagi silang join forces. Hmph!

But since this is exactly what I am longing to happen, maghahanap lang ako ng pagkakataon para makausap ko siya ng maayos. Yeah. I'll just do that. May apat na araw pa kami bago ang festival.

Well, I hope he would talk to me.

"But aside from Miya, Maika, are you effin' out of your mind?!" Tricia slammed the table kaya halos lahat ng kumakain na malapit saamin, including Hugo and Kyla, ay napatingin sa pwesto namin. Sinuway ko si Tricia to tone down her voice. So embarassing!

Si Maika tumingin ng masama kay Tricia dahil sa pagiging maingay niya.

"You can talk without banging the table Trish, and without shouting like that." umirap si Maika sa kanya. Tricia just 'urgh' while rolling her eyes. Err. Hindi padin ako sanay sa pagbabago ng ugali ni Tricia. But I guess that's for the best, kesa naman sa tahimik siya. Nagmumukha siyang misteryosa.

"I don't really care! What I care is what was that?! You know that girl is crazy! But still you let her be your partner! Why not me or Blue? That's what I know is better!" may halong pagkainis sa boses ni Tricia. That's when I realize what she was trying to point. Oh right! She partnered herself with Kyla. She's really out of her mind.

"There's no one else who could watch her carefully. Besides, may kailangan ako sa babaeng yun." mahinang sagot niya. She finished her food then stoop up. Kinuha niya ang bag niya and left us with our faces puzzled.

What is it that she needs to Kyla? And why does it have to be only her? Pwede namang si Asul ang kumausap sa babaeng yun. Aish.

Mabilis naming sinundan si Maika saka sinabayan sa paglalakad.

"Maiks! What do you mean by that? What do you need from her?" naguguluhang tanong ni Tricia. Gusto ko din siyang tanungin ng tanungin but I'll let Tricia do the talk.

"Look guys, nararamdaman kong may mali sa mga ikinikilos ni Hugo lalong lalo na si Kyla. We need to figure out what happened to Hugo's behavior, for Miya's sake and because he's one of our circle." sagot ni Maika. Parehas kaming natigilan ni Tricia dahil sa sagot niya.
