Forbidden Love

Someone tapped my shoulders, causing my eyes to flew open in a second. Still a bit groggy, I rubbed my eyes to see who was standing in front of me. "Oh, hey," I smiled at the cashier yesterday. "What time is it?"

She smiled, her red lips popping over her pale skin - though she looked really naturally pretty with freckles spread over her nose. "Sorry I wake you up," She said. "But we're about to open, and I'm sure you'd want to leave before the paparazzis get to be here. And it's 6: 17."

I nodded, yawning and got up from the bench. I noticed the name tag on her shirt. "Hey, Aliah.. where is the bathroom?"

"Oh, it's straight ahead, on the left," She answered.

I thanked her and with one last smile, I left the cafeteria. I looked over the gate, feeling relief that the paparazzis were gone. Not sure whether they'd be back, but if they did, I'd make sure I'll leave by then. Once I got into the bathroom, I splashed a cold water on my face and tied up my hair into a ponytail. I took out my phone and dialled someone. She picked up in the next few seconds. "He-"

"Where have you been?!" Dinah exclaimed on the other line, before I could say something. "We've been worried sick about you since we saw you on the news. Me and Ally tried to call you a thousand times but you didn't answer. Camila, what happened?"

I sighed, rubbing my temple. "It's a long story, but right now can you do me a favor?"

"But are you okay? You're not hurt, are you? What happ-"

"I'm fine, I promise," I said. "But I really need your help right now. Can you?"

"Y-yeah, I'll do whatever I can. What is it?"

"Okay, so can you go over my house, go into my room and take any outfit for me to wear and come over to the hospital?"

"Yeah, okay. But your mom?"

"I'll let her know."

"Oh, okay."

I heaved a sigh. "Alright, thank you Dinah. Oh, and more thing."

"Yeah?"

"Could you buy any gifts on your way here?"

"Gifts?"

"Yeah," I nodded, even though she can't see me. "Any gifts you think you'd give to a patient? Maybe a get-well-soon card."

"Camila.."

"Please? I'll let you know eventually. I can't go out right now, as far as I know the paparazzis would be around this building already."

She sighed, taking a few moments before she finally spoke. "Alright, alright. I'll be there soon. Where do we meet?"

"In the cafeteria."

After I thanked her for the last time, I ended the call. There was a shower room in the bathroom, so I quickly took off my clothes and freshen myself up while waiting for Dinah to be here.

"I took what I saw first," Dinah said, looking around the cafe before she turned to me. "Don't complain if the shirts not what you were looking for."

"Pfft, nevermind." I waved her off and walked towards the bathroom. Before I left, I gave the basket filled with gifts Dinah has bought, to Aliah and told her to take care of it while I took a change.

"Camila," Dinah called while I was changing  my outfit in the cubicle.

"Yeah?"

"What is happening, really? Come on, we never shared secrets."
