"What kind of bastard have made you cry?"

I sniffed, wiping away my tears and sat on the grass. "Not a pretty one, I assure you."

Alex chuckled lightly and sat next to me. "Pretty sure they're not."

I smiled.

"But really, what happened, Camila? Did somebody mess with you?"

I shook my head, not trying to tell him anything. "Nothing. Just uh.. something unexpected."

"You're  sure you don't want me to kick some ass?"

I laughed, playfully punching him in the arm. "No, silly."

He looked around us. "Where's your car?"

I shrugged. Honestly, I didn't know where they were. For all as I knew, Lauren must've left without me. "Maybe I have to take the cab."

"You know what," He looked at me.

"What?"

"I have a place to show you," He said.

"What place?"

"You'll see," and with that, he started standing on his feet and gestured me to get up as well.

I sighed and nodded. We  started making our way towards the gate. As soon as we were outside, luckily for us there was a cab across the street. We wasted no time and went inside the car.

"Darkwood Ave, please," Alex said to the driver.

The old man looked at us through the mirror. "What business ya have there, kids?"

Alex arched his eyebrows. "Don't know, but pretty sure it's none of yours."

"Alex!" I hit his arms, watching the man keep his mouth shut and started roaring the car to life. I turned to Alex. "You don't have to be rude all the time."

"And you don't have to be polite all the time, babygirl," He winked.

I shook my head, leaning my back off of the seat and looked out of the windows.

*******

"Where are we?" My heart skipped a little bit as soon as I hopped out of the car. I didn't know where Alex was taking me, but it sure was some place I've never been before. And it was kind of creepy in my liking. "You're not kidnapping me, are you, Alex?"

I heard a soft chuckled coming from him as soon as the cab drove away. "Trust me if I am, I wouldn't take you here," He turned to me and winked.

I looked away, hiding the emberassed smile and looked around our surrounding. In front of me was a big building with a lot of paintings or what they called 'graffiti'. They were beautiful, I admitted. I slightly just got an idea about what we were about to do. When I turned to Alex, he was grinning and he dragged my hand forward, following his steps. "Are we going to do what I think we are?"

Alex looked around him, as if searching for any sight of other humans. We were literally the only ones who was there in the middle of the night. "Maybe."

I just followed his steps through the mudded ground until we stopped in what seemed like an abandoned cabin.

"Alex, I'm not going there," I stopped on my track, eyeing the empty cabin. The cold wind started blewing on my body. I regretted wearing a tee shirt now.

"You don't have to," Alex said. "Wait here,"

I nodded, rubbing my arms hoping to ease the coldness a little. I watched as Alex came out, bringing a black bag in his hand. He put it on the ground and zipped it open. My eyebrows arched at the sight of the amount of paint bottles inside.
