Opening my eyes, I groaned as I rolled over the bed.
“Morning, lost princess,” a voice greeted my ears from near me. I turned my head up to see Yuree, hovering over me with her smile. “Had a good sleep?”
“Mmm, yeah,” I mumbled, sitting on the bed. I looked around and noticed that there were only Yuree and I in the building. “Where is everybody?”
“Chester got some errand to do, Kayla left for her school,” Yuree glanced at me. “Speaking of school-”
“Don’t remind me,” I cut her off and got up from the bed. At the smells of my own clothes, I scrunched my nose. “Do you guys have a bathroom here? God bless this smell.”
Yuree chuckled. “We don’t. Good thing is, I have one in my apartment.”
I looked at her. “Are you inviting me over to your house?”
“Why not? You need a shower, anyway.”
I scoffed and playfully hit her in the arms. “Where is Alex?”
“I don’t really know,” Yuree grabbed her backpack and swung it over her back. “But he said he’ll be back at 10am.”
“Oh,” I muttered. Grabbing my backpack, I followed Yuree’s steps as she started making her way out. I can’t help but wondering where the hell was Alex. Now that I’d known everything, I really needed to talk to him.

Yuree’s apartment was a few miles away from the building where Alex and his friends hung around. The cab stopped his car right in front of a double-building apartment and we got out after Yuree handed the driver the money.
“Sorry if this doesn’t live up your expectations,” Yuree muttered, glancing over her shoulders.
I smiled, shaking my head. “I don’t have any.” I looked around, scanning the area. There was two building separated by an alley in the middle of them, which led to the road. Yuri and I walked until we arrived in front of her room. I watched as she unlocked it, calling out her mom in the meantime.
“Let’s go,” She said, stepping inside. “Make yourself comfortable!”
“Thanks,” I muttered and put my backpack on the couch. “Where is your mom?”
“Oh, I think she left for the groceries,” Yuree opened the blind, letting the sun peeked in. “The bathroom is on the left. I’ll pass you an extra towel.”
It felt nice after the warm water hit on my skin. I sucked in a deep breath, closing my eyes and sat under the shower as it was running on my body. I left home, I left my family. It felt so bad, yet it felt so good. I didn’t know what was wrong with me, how did I end up here? Surrounded by people I didn’t know, but that was the thing - they made me feel like I’d known them forever.
Yet my ‘home’ included by a bunch of humans that sometimes made me feel like a stranger.
God damn, Alex. I didn’t know how you did this to me. I never was the bad kid, but was I one now?
As I put on a fresh new shirt and jeans Yuree gave to me, I walked towards the dining room and watched as Yuree cooked something on the stove. The small TV on the counter was on, playing Today’s News. My eyes focused on the screen as I saw my name was written on the board.
“Camila Cabello has been missing from home, as told by Suhe Cabello, the legend singer, by April 4th,” the reporter said. I took a sip of my coffee and looked up. “Do you mind, closing the TV?”
