"I feel like it's just me
It's just me
What's it gonna take
what's it gonna be
I don't even know
I don't even know
But I'm lonely, lonely
Feels like I don't even know
I don't even know," Nate said, finishing the song as I sang softly,
"Can you hold me
Can you hold me
Can you hold me in your arms?" I continued for a few lines after Nate finished and the crowd started cheering.
Nate turned to me and smiled, walking over.
"Sup?" I asked and he ducked down and talked into my ear.
"Thank you," he said, his voice so vulnerable, and a tear slid down my cheek. He straightened up and I hugged him. He hugged me back quickly before letting me go and stepping back. By that time the crowd had calmed down and was not so patiently waiting.
"Big thanks to Kelsey-" he shouted but stopped and turned to me, "I don't..."
"Jones," I said nodding and he nodded.
"But thanks to Kelsey Jones for helping me out!" He shouted and the crowd cheered. I smiled at him and waved at the crowd as I walked away.

After our show I was at a pub when my phone vibrated.
Nate- where're you?
Kelsey- the pub you?
Nate- my bus wanna go out? A burger?
Kelsey- I think I'm gonna head to bed after this drink
Nate- ok np see you tomorrow
I put my phone down and drained my mug, payed, and left.

The next morning I woke up and rolled over, falling off my bunk and onto the floor.
"Shit!" I exclaimed, getting up and leaning against the bunks. I pulled on some skinny jeans and my NF hoodie, grabbed my wallet and phone and shoved them in my pocket. I grabbed my leather jacket and went into the living room and laced up my combat boots.
I got outside and took a deep breath of the cold, damp, England air before pulling my phone out of my pocket and checking the time before texting Nate.
Kelsey- you up?
Nate- yep what's up?
Kelsey- wanna grab a coffee?
Nate- sure where?
Kelsey- idk let's meet at the venue
I walked for a minute before putting my phone away and sitting on the steps of the venue.
"Kelsey? Kelsey Jones?" A girl asked and I looked up.
"Hi," I said and she and her friends came over asking for autographs. I took a few selfies and signed the girls shirts before spotting Nate. "Girls I've gotta go," I said and they nodded, backing off.
"Hey," Nate said getting closer and I smiled politely.
"Hey, how'd you sleep?" I asked and he shrugged, taking my hand in his.
"Not well, you?" He asked and I looked up at him.
"Oh fine," I said and he smiled down at me, interlacing our fingers.
"Where'd you wanna go?" He asked and I shrugged.
"I saw a cafe yesterday, we could go there," I suggested and he nodded.

We walked for a couple blocks in comfortable silence until we got to the cafe.
We ordered and sat at a table, drinking our coffee in a awkward silence.
"I was thinking, would you have a problem with helping me out on stage for the rest of tour?" He asked after a while and I took a sip of my coffee, finally looking from the window to him.
"No, I had fun," I said and he smiled.
"Me too," he said and I smiled into my coffee.
"So, tell me about yourself," he said and I sighed.
"What'd you wanna know?" I asked and he shrugged, taking a sip of his coffee.
"Where'd you grow up?" He asked and I smiled slightly.
"That's a pretty personal question," I teased and he chuckled, "at least take me on a date first."
"What is this then?" He asked and I looked at our coffees, smiling.
"I suppose," I said and I looked up to see Nate smiling at me.
"So?" He asked and I glanced back down at the table.
"I grew up in Queens, moved to Chicago a couple years ago," I said and he nodded.
"Any siblings?" He asked and I shook my head, looking out the window again.
"No," I said, my voice shaking so I cleared my throat and tried again, "no, only child," I said and he nodded again, sliding his hand across the table and gently taking it in his. "What about you?" I asked suddenly and he tilted his head slightly.
"What about me?" He asked and I smiled.
"Siblings? Where'd you grow up?" I asked and he sighed.
"Sisters and Gladwin," he said and I nodded.
"Nice," I said and he nodded as well.

After we finished our coffee we went for a walk around London, stopping in shops and fooling around. I ended up getting a lego set for Charlie, praying he's still into that stuff when I get back.
We'd made our way back to the venue around 11:30am.
"Do you know when you're leaving?" Nate asked as we stopped in front of the venue.
"Noon as far as I know," I answered and he nodded, leaning against the doorframe.
"Why don't you come with me?" He asked and I looked up at him.
"What?" I asked and he sighed, standing up and kicking a rock.
"It's, what, a Three? Four hour drive?" He asked and I nodded.
"Something like that, yea," I said and he nodded.
"Why don't you come on my bus?" He asked and I stepped up on one of the steps and balanced my heals over the edge.
"I-I don't know..." I said quietly and he nodded.
"Can I ask you why?" He asked and I looked up at him, loosing my balance and falling back. He stepped forward and caught me, both his arms around my waist, and pulled me into him. He held me tightly against his chest, his heart racing.
"Nate?" I breathed and his grip loosened slightly. "Nate, I'm fine," I whispered and he reluctantly let me go, keeping his arms around me but letting me step back.
"Sorry," he whispered, dropping his arms to his sides and stepping back. I smiled and looked down at the ground,
"It's ok," I said, blushing and missing the feeling of his arms around me.
"Kels? Kels!" Mike called and I turned around, seeing him standing outside the bus. I looked back at Nate who was still looking down awkwardly.
"You coming?" I asked, holding out my hand, and he nodded. He slipped his hand into mine, his fingers fitting perfectly between mine, and walked with me back to the bus.
