It took Nate about five minutes to get to sleep but even with all the repositioning I couldn't calm down enough to fall asleep.
Last night I was so tired and thinking about Nathan and forgiving him just made me even more tired it was easy to get to sleep but tonight I'd made up my mind and wasn't really tired. The only thing going through my mind right now was Nate's strong grip around me and how, if he squeezed tight enough, he could squash me like a bug and it'd be even easier with my cracked ribs.
Around 1 I got up and took a quick shower before scribbling down a note for Nate and leaving.
It took me ten minutes with 1am traffic to get to my destination.
I took the elevator, floor 5, and let myself in the apartment knowing she was still up.
I opened the door and looked around as I walked in, closing it behind me.
"Kelsey!!" She squealed as she got up and ran over to me, hugging me. The girl was shorter with shoulder length wavy hair and she was fairly curvy. She stepped away and I got a better look at her face; she had dark blue eyes that were happy almost all the time. She had smile lines around her mouth and eyes that reminded me of the good old days before Nathan's shit and Mark and Charlie.
We walked into the living room and was met by her brother. He stood up and smiled when he saw me. He was tall with tousled blond hair that went down to the nape of his neck and his bright green eyes lit up when he saw me. His navy blue tee shirt was stretched over his muscular chest and arms and he was wearing swim trunks that showed off his calfs.
He kissed me quickly before putting his arm around my waist and leading me to the couch.
"You look nice," he said, his deep voice taking me by surprise. I nodded and blushed as he sat down beside me and finished the race he was running with his sister before handing me another remote and starting another race.

Around 3am Jen went to bed and Mark and I hung out for a bit.
"Where're you staying these days? Other than here," Mark asked, joking and placing his hand on my inner thigh.
"I've got a hotel room until I can figure something out," I said and he nodded, rubbing my bare thigh. I blushed as he leaned forward, pressing his lips against mine. He moved closer and cupped my face, deepening the kiss. I moved closer and he slid his hand up my shorts, stopping and pulling away when my phone rang.
"Shit," I breathed, chuckling, and I reached over and grabbed my phone.
"Hello?" I asked and Mark started kissing my neck.
"Where are you?" Nate asked and I gasped, shoving Mark away.
"Nathan," I whispered and Mark smirked. "I-I'm over at Jens," I said and Mark got up, walking into the kitchen.
"When were you planing on coming back?" Nate asked and I sighed.
"5...? 6 maybe?" I asked and Mark sat down beside me, handing me a glass of whiskey.
"Why?" Nate asked after a second of silence and I downed the whiskey.
"I couldn't sleep and I knew Jen would be up," I said and he sighed and I imagined him rubbing the back of his neck.
"Can you come back so we can talk?" He asked and I nodded.
"I'll leave in a few minutes," I said before he hung up.
"What do you plan on doing in that few minutes?" Mark asked and I shrugged.
"I hadn't really thought that far," I said and he nodded, moving closer and cupping my face.
"So, are you two back together?" He asked and I shrugged again.
"I don't know," I said and he nodded, moving closer.
"When will you?" He asked, his face now not even and inch from mine.
"I don't know," I breathed before he kissed me.
He pushed me down onto my back and he climbed on top of me, slipping my shirt over my head before kissing my neck.
I pulled his shirt over his head and wrapped my legs around his waist, pulling his face up and kissing him.
He slowly undid my shorts and slipped them down, tossing them to the floor before placing his hand on my inner, upper thigh.
I slipped his shorts off as I nibbled at his earlobe and he moaned a little as he pulled my panties down.

"I love you Kelsey," Mark muttered, his arms around me.
"I have to go," I said, sitting up and pulling my shirt on.
"Seriously?" Mark asked and I looked back at him laying on the couch.
"What?" I asked and he sat up.
"You're gonna go back to him?" He asked and I sighed, standing up and finishing getting dressed. "But I love you," he said and I smiled softly.
"Everyone seems to," I said before kissing his cheek and walking away.
