I woke up with a horrible pain piercing my hand. I rolled over and saw Kelsey laying with my arm underneath her neck.
I slid my arm out and got up as Kelsey rolled over to face me.
"What's wrong my love?" She slurred sleepily and I saw a faint bruise underneath her right eye.
"I'm gonna make some coffee, you want some?" I asked and she nodded, tucking her bangs behind her ear.
"Yes please," she said and I kissed her forehead before walking away.
I made a pot of coffee and poured myself a cup and was unwrapping my hand when Kelsey walked out here, barefoot and wearing a pair of short shorts and a grey tank top.
"You're dressed for summer," I teased and she nodded, grabbing one of the hoodies from the table and putting it on. "Those aren't for you to wear," I said and she rolled her eyes.
She braided the end of her hair in a loose messy braid as she walked over and kissed my cheek.
"Morning," she said as she poured herself a cup of coffee and filled it up with cream and sugar.
"Look what he did to you," I said, sighing, as I reached out and gently touched the bruise under her eye.
"It's nothing," she said into her mug as she took a sip of coffee before coughing. "Wow," she said, her voice hoarse.
"What?" I asked after swallowing some coffee and she took another sip.
"This could wake a bear!" She exclaimed and I chuckled.
"Good," I said and she nodded, taking another sip before putting two more spoonfuls of sugar in it. She took another sip before nodding and walking over to the couch. She stopped and looked at me,
"Thank you for last night Nate," she said and I nodded, walking over to her and hugging her.
"Anytime," I said into her hair and she sighed, leaning on me a little.
I put my arm under her legs, picking her up, and laid her down on the couch before taking her cup of coffee and putting it on the table along with mine. She smiled up at me sleepily and I laid down beside her, wrapping my arms around her, pulling her into my chest. We slept for a couple more hours before I felt someone kissing me. I slid my arms up her back and deepened the kiss. When she sat back, I opened my eyes and smiled when I looked into her green eyes.
"I could get used to this," I said and she smiled.
"Me too," she whispered before kissing me again. I took the hair tie out of her hair and ran one hand through the tangled brown mess, the other went to her waist, pulling her on top of me.
She sighed happily, pulling away and flipping her hair to one side.
She just looked at me for a minute before kissing me again quickly and getting up.
I sighed and rolled over, watching her put her coffee in the microwave and warming it up.
"I need to go pack," she said, her back still to me.
"Why?" I asked and she turned to face me, that beautiful enchanting smile on her face.
"Because last night was the last show," she said, chuckling a little.
"I know but why don't we stay, have our own mini vacation?" I asked, getting up and walking over to her. I gently ran my fingers down her cheek and she sighed.
"I'd love too but I have people waiting for me," she said and I nodded, dropping my hand to my side.
"Ok," I said and she rolled her eyes.
"Ok? Ok what?" She asked and I shrugged, putting my coffee in the microwave and warming it up.
"Ok, I should put some time in in the studio anyway," I said and she nodded.
"Ok," she said and I nodded.
"Ok."Around lunch Kelsey shoved her clothes into the bag she brought over and left, hesitating at the door before closing the it behind her.
As soon as the door was closed I kicked a hole in the wall and yelled."Yes, one ticket to Gladwin, Michigan," I said for the fourth time and the girl behind the counter nodded, typing something into her computer.
I sighed, looking around, and saw a group of people standing not too far from me. One of the two girls had shoulder length wavy black hair and was fairly curvy, the other had long brown hair that was in a bun on the top of her head and she looked like she was recovering from some form of an eating disorder.
Two of the three guys had shoulder length brown hair and the other had shorter blond hair.
The guys stood a good half a foot above the girls and one of the brown haired ones had his arm around the girl with brown hair and he pulled her into his side as they all laughed at something someone said.
I opened my mouth to say something when I heard the girl behind the counter say something.
"Sorry," I said, looking back at her, and she sighed.
"I said that'll be £245," she said and I nodded, pulling out my credit card and handing it to her.
"Hey handsome," a familiar voice said behind me as a pair of arms slid around my waist and I smiled, turning to face her.
"Hello there beautiful," I said, looking into her beautiful green eyes.
"Sorry for leaving like that this morning," she said and I shrugged
"It's fine," I said and she smiled, reaching up and kissing me quickly.
"Excuse me sir?" The girl behind the counter asked and I turned around.
"Thanks," I said as I took my ticket and credit card. I grabbed my bag and Kelsey's hand before walking away.
We made our way over to Kelsey's crew and though I got a warm welcome from Jen, Brian, and Jonny, I got a cold disgusted look from Mike.
I looked at the damage I'd done last night and, for a split second, felt bad about hitting him so hard.
He had a black eye, bruises all along his jaw, a cut on his right cheek bone, a split lip, and his nose was probably broken in which case he shouldn't be flying without getting it checked out.
"So, back to cold, cold, cold, Michigan eh?" Jonny asked and I nodded, slipping my arm around Kelsey's waist and putting my bag down.
"Yea, visit my family," I said and he nodded.
"I feel ya, my sister just had another baby," he said and Jen gasped.
"Another?" She asked and he nodded as I felt Kelsey chuckle.
"What's the big deal?" I whispered to Kelsey and she smiled.
"His sister Serenity has four kids already and it's unbelievable for Jen that someone can have more than two kids without loosing their mind," she explained and I nodded.
We talked for a while until the person on the intercom said my flight was boarding."Text me when you land?" Kelsey asked, stopping in front of my gate, and I nodded.
"Only if you text me when you land," I said and she rolled her eyes.
"Oh god, we're one of those couples," she said and I sighed, kissing her cheek.
"Kelsey," I whispered and she nodded.
"Sorry, habit," she said
"Last call for flight 179. Last call for flight 179," the person on the intercom called and I sighed.
"That's me," I said and she nodded.
"Have a safe flight, I love you," she said and I smiled.
"Love you too," I said before kissing her quickly. I pulled away and went to turn around when she pulled me into a deep goodbye kiss.
She sighed as I pulled away again. "I gotta go," I said as I gently kissed her three times. She nodded, handing me my laptop bag that she'd been carrying. I kissed her one last time before handing the flight attendant my boarding pass and walking into the plane.
Just before the door closed I glanced back and saw Kelsey standing there watching me. She gave me a little wave before the door closed and I turned and walked away.
