"Can I get you anything to start?" The waitress asked and I smiled at her as I took off my jacket. "I'll just order right now if you don't mind," I said and she nodded.
"Great!" She exclaimed as she pulled a notepad out of her little apron.
"I'll take your cranberry strawberry salad and can I get the dressing on the side?" I asked and she nodded as she wrote.
"Completely possible," she said and I nodded.
"And my date will have..." I trailed off as I looked at the menu, "oh! The sesame chicken," I said and she nodded.
"You sure you won't get in trouble?" She asked, a teasing smile on her lips, and I shook my head.
"No, we've been to this restaurant several times," I said and she nodded.
"If you say so," she teased and I smiled again. "What can I get for your drinks?"
"Waters with lemon and she'll have an iced tea," I said and she nodded before putting her notepad away and smiling at me.
"I'll be right back with your drinks," she said before walking away.
She brought the drinks five minutes later and raised her eyebrows when she saw I was still alone.
"She'll be here any minute," I said and she nodded before walking away.
Nate/ where are you?
Kels/ meeting went long, I'm five minutes away
I sighed and drank my water while I waited.
A few minutes later the door opened and the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen walked in.
She had long brown hair that was crippled and hung down her back and over her shoulders. She was very skinny and her clothes hung as if she didn't fit them properly. She looked over and her tired green eyes lit up when they met mine.
I stood up as she walked over and kissed her cheek gently.
She smiled as she took off her hoodie and sat down.
"I am so sorry," she said and I shook my head.
"Nothing compared to everything I've done," I said and she scoffed in agreement. "I ordered you the sesame chicken and got you an iced tea," I said and she nodded, that beautiful smile still on her lips.
"Thanks," was all she said before taking a sip of the iced tea.
I reached across the table and gently took her hand in mine and she smiled softly at me.
"You ok?" I asked and she nodded.
"I'm good, tired but good," she said and hesitated before leaning across the table and pressing her lips against mine. I gently placed a couple fingers under her chin and deepened the kiss before she pulled away and sat down. "You ok?" She asked and I nodded.
"Better now," I said and she nodded as the waitress came over with our food. "Sesame chicken for the lady aand.. the cranberry salad for you," she said as she placed our food in front of us.
"Oh wow, it looks amazing, thank you," Kelsey said and the waitress smiled.
"Anything else I can get for you?" She asked and I looked at Kelsey.
"Could we get some cris-fries?" Kelsey asked and the waitress nodded before walking away.
"Cris-fries?" I teased and Kelsey blushed, taking a sip of her iced tea.
"Habit, I was gonna say crisps," she said and I nodded.
"I see," I said and she nodded, a shy smile on her beautiful face.

After lunch we went back to the hotel and hung out for a bit.
"Give it back!!" Kelsey squealed as I held her phone over my head. She moved so she was straddling me and grabbed her phone, sighing and looking down at me once she had her phone back in safety.
"I love you Kelsey," I said and she kissed my nose.
"Love you too Nate," she said and I ran my hands up her back and started scratching her scalp. "Ow ow Nathan!" She exclaimed, laughing, and I reached up and kissed her, relaxing my fingers and tangling them in her hair.
She moved as to pull away but changed her mind and kissed me back, running her hands up my torso till she got to my neck. I flipped her onto the bed and she pushed me away.
"Nathan," she panted and I sighed, resting my forehead on her chest.
"Kelsey," I whispered as I started kissing her neck. She sighed quietly, rolling her head to the side, giving me more access.
"No, Nathan, we can't," she said, pushing me away again, and I sighed again.
Please God, give me the patience I prayed as I looked at her.
Her hair was splayed over the pillow and her green eyes were torn between giving in and staying mad.
"What's wrong?" I asked and she sighed.
"Nothing's wrong I just..." she trailed off and I raised my eyebrows. "I have a bad feeling," she finished and I nodded. Respect her Nathan, she's right about this a little voice in my head said and I rolled over her and onto my back.
"Ok," I said and she sighed.
She propped herself up on her elbow and looked at me.
"You sure?" She asked and I reached out and stroked her jaw gently.
"Of course," I said and she nodded, laying her head on my chest and sighing again.
