After swimming we all went out for dinner before heading home.
I went to bed right after Charlie mostly because I didn't want to have to deal with Margaret. I did some work, sent out some emails and set up some meetings, before putting my headphones in and shuffling my music.
The Void by Andy Black played and I laid back and closed my eyes.
I quickly fell asleep and woke up a few hours later to my phone vibrating.
Nate/ how was your day?
Kelsey/ was good, yours?
Nate/ alright, miss you though
Kelsey/ what'd you do today?
Nate/ went to the studio, still there now
Kelsey/ don't work too hard
Nate/ I won't
Kelsey/ mhm, I gtg I'm falling asleep texting you
Nate/ ok have a good sleep
Kelsey/ get some sleep Nathan
Nate/ love you
Kelsey/ love you too
I tossed my phone onto my nightstand and adjusted my pillow before falling back asleep.

I woke with a start and looked around. My room was dark but there was a strange glow on my dresser that turned out to be my phone. I grabbed it and scrolled through my notifications.
Instagram... Facebook... text from Nate... Twitter... another text from Nate. I unlocked my phone and read through the texts from Nate.
Nate/ i love you Kelsey, I love everything about you. I love your smile, and your hair, and your sandwiches, and your cuddles, and your laugh, and the way you listen and always know what to say to make my day better. you're beautiful and I miss you already. I can take a few weeks off next month and we can go away for a bit if you want. Idk it's just a suggestion, if you don't want to we can just head to LA for the week. I love you Kelsey and I want to make you happy.
I smiled and rubbed my eyes before texting him back.
Kelsey/ I'd love to go away with you and whether that's away away or just to LA, as long as it's with you I'm down
Nate/ glad to hear that
Kelsey/ what're you doing up?
Nate/ couldn't sleep, miss you
Kelsey/ aw, I could call you
Nate/ you're not here though
Kelsey/ few short hours and I could be
Nate/ please
Kelsey/ I'm up, I'll text you when I leave
Nate/ call me and I'll try and keep you up
I put my phone down  and got up, shoved four or five days worth of clothes along with my shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, razors, and my laptop and some paperwork I had to get done. I grabbed a bottle of iced coffee and a container of sushi that was in the fridge.
I wrote a little note explaining where I was going and that I'd call Charlie to say goodnight. I also added that I didn't know how long I would be away and that I took the sushi.
I quietly slipped on my jacket and boots, not bothering to do them up, and ran downstairs. I tossed the duffle bag I take on tour into the backseat and started my jeep.
After plugging my phone in I called Nate and waited for him to answer while I pulled out of the drive way and drove down the street.
"Hello?"
"Nate? It's Kelsey," I said and he sighed.
"Hey, how tired are you?" He asked and I chuckled, turning into traffic.
"Not very, I got coffee to keep me awake," I said.
We talked for the first couple hours before Nate fell asleep.
I hung up and played some music, turning the volume almost all the way up. Feel Invincible by Skillet played and I rocked out while eating the sushi and drinking my iced coffee.
An hour and a half later Nate called me, sounding very sleepy.
"Sorry I fell asleep," he said, sighing as he got up.
"You need it," I said and I heard him put his phone down.
"I'm gonna put you on speaker," he said and I nodded. He sang absentmindedly while doing something in the kitchen and I smiled, finishing the last of my coffee.
"That was beautiful, what's it called?" I asked
"I don't know, it just popped into my head," he said and I smiled, turning onto the secondary highway that took me straight to Gladwin.
"Well you should right that down, I liked it," I said and he chuckled.
We talked about music and movies, picking which ones to watch when I get there until I pulled into town.
"What's your street address?" I asked and he sighed, shuffling some papers. He told me his street and I hung up before turning onto his street. I parked on the street and Nate was waiting on the sidewalk.
I got out and he jogged over to the drivers side and hugged me tightly. I smiled, pulling away and kissing him. He held me tightly against him, kissing me again the same way he kissed me the last night I was here.
I held his face against mine and kissed him again, sliding my hand around his neck into his hair.
He pulled away and rested his forehead on mine, panting a little.
"I missed you so much," he breathed and I smiled.
"It's been a month," I said and he shook his head slightly.
"I don't care, I love you," he said before kissing me again and pressing me against the jeep.
He slipped his hands under my shirt and started to pulling it up when I pushed him away.
"Save it for inside," I said and he chuckled, stepping back.
"Your right," he said, shoving his hands in his hoodie pocket. I grabbed my bag from the backseat and he took it from me.
He slung it over his shoulder and slid his hand into mine, leading me into the building.
When we got inside he tossed my bag on the floor, grabbed me by the waist and kissed me. He slid off my jacket and tugged my shirt over my head before tossing them to the floor.
I pulled his shirt off, ripping it with my nails by accident, and tossed it to join mine. He picked me up and pushed me against the wall, kissing my neck. I moaned quietly as I wrapped my legs around his waist.
I nibbled slightly on his earlobe and he moaned softly into my neck. He pulled back, looking at me for a second before kissing me roughly again. I pushed him away and rubbed my bottom lip slightly.
"Nate, love the enthusiasm but you're starting to hurt me," I said and he nodded, stroking my cheek gently.
"Sorry," he whispered and I smiled, kissing his jaw.
"It's who you are and I love you," I whispered and he smiled, turning and laying me on the bed. He kissed his way down to my jeans and undid them before tugging them off and tossing them away.
He started kissing my jaw and I undid his jeans and brought my feet up, using them to push his pants off. He kissed me gently before getting up and walking to the bathroom. I sighed happily and stretched out across the bed before crawling further onto it. He came back and tossed a little purple package onto the bed before crawling on top of me and he smiled briefly before kissing me lovingly.
