Chapter Sixteen
Jade's POV
Pinindot ko ang doorbell sa bahay nila Blake at ilang segundo palang ang nakakalipas ay may pares ng mga matang sumilip sa bintana na katabi lamang ng pintuan nila.
I jokingly glared at this boy but it's not long after nang matawa ako bigla when I saw how his eyes widened, probably because of my very unexpected presence.
Bumukas ang pinto sa harap ko at agad niya 'kong sinalubong ng isang tawa. I don't know what's funny but I'm glad he's finally getting back to his senses again. Akala ko eh mawawala na 'yung Blake na nakasanayan ko matapos yung nangyaring gumimbal sa aming lahat...
"Pinagtatawanan mo 'ko?" biro ko at saka pumasok na sa loob.
"Not that I'm laughing at you! Natawa lang ako bigla, hindi ko rin alam kung bakit." and then he chuckled and I just rolled my eyes at him.
Napangiti ako nang makita ko ang pinapanood niya sa TV...
Adventure Time.
"What the heck? How old are you?" I crossed my arms and looked at him na para bang takang-taka ako sa nakikita ko ngayon.
"18-ish?" he shrugged.
"You're not 5 years old, are you?"
"Maybe? I wish I am, though."
"God..." napailing na lamang ako at saka tumawa sa sinabi niya.
"What? It's a show for all ages!" he defended like a kid at kulang nalang ay humawak siya ng isang bote ng gatas o kaya lagyan ng pacifier ang bibig niya and I am completely convinced that he's a literal giant baby. 'Yung tipong napunta lang sa maling katawan.
"Take that Pikachu onesie off you, it's distracting." umupo ako sa sofa nila at napabuntong-hininga ako sa dami ng kalat na nasa ilalim, mostly packs of chips and candy wrappers.
He snickered at my remark, "I have nothing underneath besides this onesie so if I take it off I'll be entirely exposed in front you."
I almost flinched with what I heard. I didn't even dare look at his expression right now.
Napa-facepalm nalang ako sa sinabi niya, "Okay, whatever, little boy."
"Don't call me that! I might prove you wrong."
