Thought this would fit the Valentine's day theme well so enjoy this short chapter and have a good valentines day!! (Unless you're single af like me (not that I care hehe))
Victor Nikiforov
"Did you two sleep well?" Jewel smiles whilst biting down on some expensive looking cake. All the cakes on the breakfast table look expensive. Jewel has always loved cake.
"Yes thanks" Yuri smiles nervously at the King. Oh if only he knew what happened last night.
I only have three words; make up sex.
"You could have kept it down" Yuri and I simultaneously choke on our cakes. He heard us!?
"You heard?" Yuri whispers with a face like a tomato.
"No! You fell for it!" Jewel laughs until he can't breathe. I should have known. He's not only the king of vampires, he's the king of mind games.
"So you two really got it on!?" Yuri hides his face in his hands as I glare at Jewel.
Were interrupted by the sound of Yuris phone receiving a text. He's more popular than he makes out to be. With a shaking hand he pulls it out of his poket but Jewel takes it before he can even unlock the device.
"I was meaning to ask about this; is this the contraption that people all a mobile phone?" Yuri blinks at him in confusion as I roll my eyes. Jewel is at least twenty years behind the rest of the world;
"Why is it called mobile? Can it walk?" He places the phone upright on the table and frowns when it lands flat on its face. I can't hold in my sniggering.
Yuri looks to me in utter confusion and it only makes the situation funnier.
"He's still in the past" I shrug; "Jewel you need to get out more"
"Get out? No. Too many germs out there." He shudders like the OCD man that he is and a cruel piece of information comes into my mind.
"Did you know that mobile phones are one of the items carrying the most bacteria in the world?" Immediately he hands the phone back to Yuri and wipes his gloves on his cloak.
"Butler! Quick, get me a new pair of gloves!" This is too good.
"I'm going to have to leave" Yuri looks up from his phone with a polite smile. I wonder who texted him? It better not have been Chris Giacopedophile.
"Why?"
"I promised Pichit I'd go to Oxford Street with him" he stands and bows to Jewel; "king Jewel, It was an honour meet you. Thank you for your hospitality"
"Yes Mr Katsuki; take good care of yourself" Jewel bows his head to Yuri with a placid smile.
Yuri pulls my coat on and walks to my end of the table with a smile. As soon as I notice that he plans walk straight past me I grab his sleeve and pull him toward me.
"Don't forget to buy me something" I whisper and connect my lips with his. The kiss deepens and Yuri pulls away from me with a flustered look on his face. He must be able to feel Jewels eye on him too.
"O-Okay" and he's gone.
Jewel stares at me with a wet eye for a few seconds before he speaks; "Do you guys mind getting married in London? I'd like to attend but I can't handle traveling"
This time I choke on my tea.
"Don't rush us!"
"Would you like to marry him though?" Jewel finishes his cake calmly as if we're discussing the weather or something.
"I would bring me problems..." You would think that as a Russian the problems would be the matter of marrying another man but homosexuality is common among vampires and perfectly acceptable. My worry is marrying a human. If I do so, vampires will look down on me even more than they already do. My family would look down on me even more than they already do.
"But I'd love to share his surname, to call him my husband, to have matching wrings..." I trail off into my imagination, setting up a wedding in my mind. We'd have a traditional wedding, everything would be white and adorned with purple decorations and flowers. I'd wear a white suit and have my hair cut... And Yuri... Yuri would be dressed in a black suit, waiting for me at the altar with that beautiful smile of his.
"My dear Vitya, you are so in love" he pretends to wipe a tear from his eye.
"I know... hes my world" I smile at my lap with a happy sigh. I though I'd spend the rest of my life alone; as that broken soul everyone though I was. But Yuri Katsuki turned my world upside down. He turned it and became it.
"I'll take care of all the wedding expenses and I'll pick out the finest venue. What sort of food does Yuri like?"
"Jewel! I don't think he's ready" Why would he be? He's only known me for a couple of months.
"You don't? Are you certain?" He raises an eyebrow as he elegantly sips his tea.
"I don't think he loves me as much as I love him" I never realised how painful the words are. But the truth hurts. There's simply no way he spends every waking moment thinking of me the way I do, there's no way I'm the center of his universe the way he is the center of mine.
"Nonsense. All lovers think that. If it was Yuri sitting in your place he would say the exact same thing." Jewel stands and walks over to me, he squats down and pierces me with his real, blue eye; "seriously; you don't have to get married now or next year. Just remember that man's heart is yours as much as yours is his"
What would I do without Jewel? He knows exactly what to do to make me feel better.
As you may have noticed this story has many chapters and it's gonna have many more so sorry about that 😂
Have a nice day and see you very soon 😊
