Just so you know this is a character building filler. No real plot progression here.

"Victor! I'm ready, let's got to the beach!" I spring out of my room fully equipped with bermuda jeans and an open crimson short sleeve shirt. I just hope it's not too cold tonight.
My fiance looks up from the laptop resting on his lap and raises an eyebrow;
"We've only been in Japan for a day and a bit"
"Yea well the quicker the better. Are you busy? We can go another time" I smile kindly and hope that there will be another night as clear as this one.
"No. You've already dressed up, just give me a minute to get changed." Victor heads for his room but is interrupted by Makka who's infront of the door, wagging his tail expectantly.
"Do you want to come too?" The poodle barks happily and I can't help but smile at the way Victor embraces him and ruffles his brown fur.
I'll miss little things like this, insignificant moments that cause bursts of joy.
Shortly after Victor emerges from his room wearing a blue and black flannel shirt and jeans rolled so they're just past his knees.
"Why do you look good in everything?" I ask, a little dazed by his beauty.
When you're so close to someone and you spend so much time with them you can forget how special and beautiful they are, and how lucky you are to have them.
"I could ask you the same thing"
"Whatever, come here" He walks to me and only stops when our noses are almost touching, smirking like the tease that he is.
After giving him a chaste kiss I turn him around by the shoulders and push him onto one knee so I can take his hair and transform it into a loose bun;
"Wouldn't want to get sand in your hair" instead of getting up Victor reaches behind him, wrapping his arms around my knees and pulling into a piggy back as he stands.
"Victor!" I try to sound upset but a laugh is inevitable as calls for Makkachin and almost smacks my head against the doorframe as we leave.
"Am I not heavy?" I whisper into Victor's ear as we make our way to the beach under the clear night sky.
"First of all, not really. Second of all, I'm a vampire"
I hum in understanding and turn my gaze to the beach in the distance. Regardless of the sky being dark the sea still sparkles like the stars, calmly rippling as if it has no worry in the world.
"You should see the view from up here, it's beautiful" I murmur, still in awe of the way the everlasting sea meets the deep sky.
"Maybe you should carry me"
"I'd like to keep my spine thank you" Victor makes a sarcastically offended gasp and his arms tighten under my legs as he chuckles.
"Thank you Victor" I whisper, resting my cheek against Victor's hair and closing my eyes, only focusing on the sound of his footsteps and the breaths he takes.
