[Kisses']

"Grabe ka magselos." Natatawa kong sabi kay Yuan.

"Tss." Napanguso siya habang maingat na pinapark ang kotse niya.

"You look like you're about to kill him." Patuloy na panunukso ko sa kaniya.

"That guy's so full of himself. Why are you friends with him anyway?"

I shifted on my seat and faced him, "Ganoon lang talaga 'yon. But he's really nice."

He narrowed his eyes at me, "You always think that all people are nice."

"Naah. Those girls the other day - they're far from being nice."

He let out a chuckle but didn't say anything.

He cleared his throat, "So you have your ways on making my heart flustered, huh?"

Napayuko ako sa hiyang nararamdaman, "You always do that to me, too." Mahina kong sabi.

"Do what?" He said quietly.

"Make me flustered..." I mumbled.

I felt his gaze on me. I fixed my eyes on my lap as I played with my fingers. I stiffened when he placed his finger under my chin and turned my face to him.

"Why are you not looking at me?" He asked softly.

Napapikit ako ng mariin at napatakip sa aking mukha. "Tigilan mo nga 'yang pagtitig mo ng ganyan!"

"Why?" Natatawa niyang tanong.

"Nakakahiya! Natutunaw ako!"

"Well, that's unfair. I wasn't protesting whenever you stare at me, was I?" Nakanguso niyang sabi.

"That's because hindi ka naaapektuhan sa tingin ko!" Nakairap kong sabi.

"Tss. You have no idea how you affect me in every way."

"Ewan ko sa 'yo." Tinanggal ko na ang seatbelt ko at nakangiting humarap sa kanya. "See you around?"

"Of course. Ako ang maghahatid sa 'yo pauwi." Nakangiti niya ring tugon. "I'll call you later."

"Alright. I'll wait for you then?"

"Yeah."

"Siya nga pala, ngayon ang uwi ng parents ko from Hong Kong. Uhm, gusto sana kitang ipakilala."

His face lit up, "Sure."

Binuksan ko na ang pinto ng kotse. Bababa ba sana ako ng masuyo niyang hawakan ang braso ko.

"Why?" Nagtataka kong tanong.

"I love you. Always remember that, okay?" Sabi niya na puno ng sinseridad.

Tila may humaplos sa puso ko habang nakatitig sa mga mata niya. Dati, I'm always intimidated sa tuwing titigan niya ako. There's something in his eyes that makes me uncomfortable. Pero ngayon, whenever he looks at me, I always feel safe and secured. It's like his eyes are giving me assurance that he'll never let anything bad happen to me - that he'll make sure to keep me from harm. Pakiramdam ko punong-puno ang puso ko ng pagmamahal sa tuwing kasama ko siya! Parang may mga bubbles na hugis heart na lumulutang sa paligid!

"Okay." Tanging nasabi ko at binigyan siya ng matamis na ngiti.

I can't stop myself from smiling as I look at Kisses who's heading towards their building. Even the way she walks is so  adorable.

What a great start of my day.
