Sophie

Finally, it's the last year of senior high. You know what that means, right? A long break till college! I wonder what would life be transferring to a new school, exploring a new environment, meeting new people, or what so ever. Makakapag-adjust din ako. But for now, magtitiis nanaman ako for a whole year dahil sa stress at pagod. Pero at the end, worth it naman mga pag e-effortan ko.

"I've been part of the Student Council ever since the moment I entered junior high. I was recruited by some sophomores and juniors to join their organization which encouraged me to build up my passion and strength to be a good follower and a good leader. Sa pagiging active ko, the organizers asked me to be their Student Body President. Sobrang nagulat ako kasi I thought walang kwenta lang mga pinaggagawa ko mula first year hanggang sa kalagitnaan ng third year ko. So yun, I agreed. Ever since campaign period started, mas naging tight yung bondings ko with them. Like mula umaga hanggang 8 ng gabi kami magkasama 24/7 para sa mga agenda at pharaphernalias ng partido. All those days were so worth it, kasi almost everyone in our line up got the votes our schoolmates rooted for. They said na 'di bale na hindi sila manalo, basta manalo daw yung president na pinatakbo nila, mas masaya sila. And that made my heart beat on that juju on that beat, haha joke. (ang corny mo, Sophie) I'm Sophie Maxine Magalona, your Student Body President ng partidong CEU. Create, Entertain, & Unite. Thank you and God bless."

7:45 AM

I was at the computer lab with my co-officers to post a short bio on our school's blog and newspaper. First day  palang, it agad ginawa namin. Well, since 4th year ko na, for sure hectic na mga schedule ko. Dapat every Monday, may i-popost kami sa site for the students' update. Busy pero masaya. Kakatapos ko lang ipost yung part ko sa site, so I was waiting for my co-officers to finish theirs so that sabay sabay na kami lalabas ng room at mag part ng ways for our class. 8:10 pa naman first class ko as well as the others, so I continued reading my book muna which is called "The Heartbreak Diaries". Mahilig ako magbasa at magsulat ng poems, depending on the mood I have. Poems are very fascinating, nakaka-entertain talaga.

"Soph, ang aga aga namukmok ka na agad sa pagiging bh mo ah.", Claudia Barretto, my vice president, said while laughing.

"Ano ba, Sophie? 2017 na, move on na. May sense pa ba if you'll be reading stories related to your past?", sabi naman ni Janina Punzalan, ang secretary namin.

"Hindi naman ako bh, girls. Maganda lang talaga yung mga sulat dito.", I assured them. It really is a good book, maano lang talaga yung title, hays.

"Weh? Nako Soph, idaan nalang natin sa kain yan mamaya.", sabi ni Claudia.

"Sabay tayo mamayang lunch ah! Tara alis na tayo, baka ma-late pa tayo sa first class.", ika ni Janina.

"Yeah, sure. Tara, alis na tayo. Don't forget to shut down your PCs guys.", at yun umalis na kami ng lab.

Naglakad na kami papunta sa stairs papuntang 3rd floor. Hindi man kami magkakaklase nila Claudia at Janina, pero magka-floor lang rooms namin.

While we were chit-chatting on the way to the staircase, I felt my phone vibrated on my back pocket. I unlocked my phone and saw that I received a text message saying,

"3 pm, soccer field? Usap tayo please. - J"

Hay, ano nanaman kailangan nito sa akin? Pagkatapos niya akong saktan at iwan ng walang paliwanag, nais pa makikipagkita? Para matapos ang kalokohan na ito, susunod nalang ako.

Ibinulsa ko yung phone ko ulit sa pocket ko then I went to Claudia's side.

"Oh, girl? Natagalan ka ata sa pag akyat.", sabi ni Janina.

"Ah, ano kasi, na-distract lang ako sa nagtext sa akin."

"Si Josh, noh? Girl, focus na muna ulit tayo sa acads. Last year na natin oh!", sabi ni Janina.

"Oo, acads before lakads.", I said with a smile, "Bye na mga bes, mamayang lunch ah?", then we bid each other goodbye.
