Nothing, I feel nothing.

Manhid na ba ako kaya wala akong maramdaman o dahil sobra na akong nasaktan?

This is too much.

I don't know if I'll ever look at Sophie the same way she took my breath away.

Everything just hurts.

I went to school early to review for History class, not wanting to be disturbed from this very moment till the end of the day. As I placed my things on my locker, may lumapit sa akin.

Sa lahat ng pwedeng lumapit sa akin sa oras na ito, siya pa.

Sophie.

She handed me the necklace I gave her. The letter D.

"I know I don't deserve it.", I am numb.

I just stared at the necklace on my hands as she walked away. I squeezed onto it and placed it inside my locker. Umalis na ako agad sa kinatatayuan ko at dumiretso na ako sa library para mag-review.

Akala ko makapag-focus ako sa inaaral ko, pero hindi eh.

I buried my face in my hands. Ang daming ala-ala sa library na 'to.

FLASHBACK

"I'm really nervous for my history oral recitation.", my hands were terribly shaking.

"Don't be, love! Ikaw nga favorite ng professor natin eh.", Sophie rested her chin on my shoulder and wrapped an arm around me.

I was smiling like a fool when she rested herself on me.

"You'll ace it.", she stole a kiss on my cheek!

"Ganyan ka lang kasi nakapasa ka na eh.", I frowned.

"Baby, kung nakaya ko, kakayanin mo din.", she stroked my cheek.

Knowing me, I'm the guy who's bad at memorizations, but then I scored a 30/30!

Sobrang saya ko, lalo na Sophie supported mo all throughout.

"Told you! I'm proud of you, smarty.", I pulled her for a hug.

"Thank you for rooting for me.", I rested my chin on her head.

Sophie and I have grown so much as we came out of our shells.

Academically, abilities, ano pa? Of course, as individuals.

I went back to my senses when someone sat beside me. Dylan.

"You do know that the librarians are strict when it comes to sleeping here, bud.", he spoke.

"I'm not sleeping.", I mumbled.

"I know you're not okay, dude.", he patted my back. "It'll take time for you to heal.", I bit my lip.

"I just want some time alone, Dylan. Is that okay?",

"It's fine, really. Just don't let it eat you alive.", he nudged my shoulder and left me alone.
