Chapter 4

Donny

"C'mon, Donny. Don't act like you don't remember me.",

"Danielle, it's been quite a while.", I said, softly, without looking at her.

Time check: 12:10 PM

Aha! Saved by the bell. Lunch time, thank goodies. I need to get away from her, asap. I slowly stood up from my seat and started grabbing my bag under my desk.

"Iniiwasan mo ba ako?", Danielle asked, with a sad look in her eyes.

"It's not like I am, isn't it obvious?", I replied, uninterested to have a convo with her.

"At bakit naman?", she keeps on staring at me, I want to go out na. I took a deep breath and ran my fingers through my hair.

"I don't need this small talk, Danielle. Kasi baka mamaya sumigaw ka nanaman hanggang sa marinig ng buong campus boses mo at isipin nila na tinataboy kita. Ikaw na din ang nagsabi na we're better off as friends, 'di ba? That's what I'm doing. So, please excuse me.", sabi ko ng walang paligoy-ligoy.

She was supposed to say something back, but I guess natauhan na siya ulit. Well, I'm sorry, I'm not interested anymore.

Sophie

"Sophie, sumama ka na kasi.", Josh says, pulling me closer to him.

"Ayaw ko, inaantok na ako.", I said with a yawn.

"Dali na, ang kj naman ng baby ko.", he puts an arm around me and placed a kiss on my forehead, "You know naman love na love kita, 'di ba?"

"Oo naman, and love na love din kita.", I smiled at him.

"I'll never let you go, bee.", he whispered, making my heart jump.

"Sophie, gising na. Lunch na.", I saw Janina as I opened my eyes, whispering softly.

"Janina!", I stood up and hugged her so tight.

"Girl, okay ka lang ba? Bakit parang gulat na gulat ka?", Janina asked as she gently pats my back.

"S-si J-josh.. Na-napanaginipan k-ko s-siya.", shitbrix, bakit ako naiiyak? Where's the strong Sophie?

"Ssh, calm down. Kain na muna tayo. It's only a bad dream, okay? Chin up, darling. It's okay.", Janina assured me that it's going be to okay. It's going to be okay.

"Napanaginipan mo siya kasi you must've been thinking about him lately kaya siguro ganon.", Claui states her point, eating her ice cream.

"I swear, 'di ko na siya iniisip.", I said, still staring at my food.

"Kain na, Soph. Magpapa-survey pa tayo.", Janina convinced me again, and Claudia cheered me up.

"Ano nga pala, Soph, yung in-ask kita ng favor kanina, pwede ko kunin around 4? Pupuntahan ko pa kasi si Leon sa building niya tas kakausapin si Mommy sa Guidance.", Claudia reminded. Oo nga pala, mejj nakalimutan ko.

"Yep, sige."

"Thank you! President namin yan. Cheer up na, ha?", Janina and Claui hugged me as a sign of cheering me up. Hay, what did I do to deserve them?

Hiiii guuuys! How are ya'll? Tbh, I was supposed to update last Wednesday kaso nakatulog ako. :-( + super stressed sa school. :/ Nakakaiyak kasi sa sobrang stress at pagod, tsaka dumating ang monthly visitor. :((( #saklap #yawkonabeh / Anyways, how's the story so far?
