"Boys, take a break first. I'll be at the faculty for a while.", Coach Leo said after blowing the whistle, then all the players separated ways to find their bags except me. I zoned out for a while to shoot some hoops. I don't know but I'm still annoyed with what Danielle did to Sophie this afternoon. Do I have the right to feel this way? For sure naman tinik lang ako sa paningin ni Sophie, pero gusto ko iparamdam sa kanya na I'll always be here no matter what. Oo, sabihin na natin na gusto ko siya. 'Di ko lang masabi, lalo na't feeling ko si Josh pa rin nasa isip niya.

"Pare, kanina ka pa tulala.", Chris said as he placed an arm around me. "Is it because of what happened nung lunch time?", I took a quick glance on him then I shoot another ball. "Yeah, bro.", I sighed. "Danielle's acting weird lately, 'di mo masabi ano gusto. Like kung ikaw pa ba or si Miguel.", Chris mentions. "Tss, after not appreciating my all? Doon na siya kay Miguel.", I said as we started to jog on the second step on the bleachers. "Pero dude, I just want to ask. Nag-uusap pa ba kayo ni Josh?", just by mentioning his name made me shiver. "N-no.", I answered him, I haven't heard from him since first day. Then we were surrounded with two of our rookies. "Kuya Donny, is it true that kuya Miguel punched you?", Ian, a sophomore, asked. I drank water first before answering, "Yeah, but don't worry. I'm fine.", I assured them. "Why would he even lay a hand on a good guy like you?", aw, these rookies, "Hmm, if you were in my place, would you let him harass a girl rather than getting punched?", I asked them. "I'd rather get punched.", Stephen, another sophomore, answered. "Harassing girls is not a good thing to do.", Stephen added. "That's true.", I muttered. "Speaking of girl, kuya Donny. Who was the girl you protected from being harassed? If you don't mind us asking.", I looked at Chris, who gave me a smirk. "She's our Student Body President.", Chris spoke for me. "Oh! Ate Sophie, really? But why would you do that, do you like her?", hot seat bro. "You won't do that if she doesn't mean anything or something to you.", I ran my fingers through my hair then took a deep breath. "Yes, I do.", don't eat your words, Donny.

Sophie

I have some things to do at the SCB room, and I'm hoping Janina and Claui are present. I still haven't seen them since this morning. From the distance, I hear loud beats coming from the SCB room. I immediately opened the door and went inside, then I saw Claui, Janina, Martin, and the other officers singing their hearts out.

"Friend you need to get your phone, erase that number
Don't call him back 'cause he don't deserve that
And when you see him in the club
Just flip your hair, don't show him any love'cause you've had enough

'Cause he was just a dick and I knew it
Got me going mad sitting in this chair
Like I don't care, gotta get him out my hair"

"Uhm, hello?", I said as I entered, then they paused the music. "Hey, Sophie! We were just waiting for you. How about another song?", Janina said. "Fine, one last okay? Then we'll talk about the fair for next month.", I announced, then they all gave me an approving look. I took a seat beside Claui then the next song started playing.

"Oh baby, I'm cool by the way
Ain't sure I loved you anyway
Go 'head, babe, I'mma live my life, my life, yeah", Janina and Martin sang together then they turned to me, and passed the microphone, the bluetooth one. All of them were looking at me as if I was a kill joy person. Their faces were like telling me, girl, you need this. Ilabas mo na mga hinanakit mo sa buhay. I sighed and grabbed the mic then sang my heart out,

"Shout out to my ex, you're really quite the man
You made my heart break and that made me who I am
Here's to my ex, hey, look at me now
Well, I, I'm all the way up, I swear you'll never bring me down"

I don't know man, but singing this song made all the pain I feel disappear. I felt that I've never been hurt before. Nailabas ko din mga hinanakit ko. HAHAHAkbye.

"Ano, Soph? Nailabas mo na ba lahat ng hinanakit mo?", Claui asked, patting my back. "I've never been better.", I gave her a smile, then my co-officers shouted with joy. "Yay, finally!", then we proceeded with our meeting. It didn't take while since itutuloy namin bukas with all the club presidents, plus sports mvp. After our meeting, sabay sabay na kami umuwi ni Claui and Janina. But little do they know na someone makes me feel better.
