Chapter 3 - Part Two

9:50 AM

I'm now back in our classroom, and our subject is Business Math! This has been one of my favorite subjects in SHS because I learned a lot from saving and spending money + to save more for me and my mom's future.

It has been 3 years since my dad left us for another woman. At first, I thought that I won't be able to finish SHS because of him, leaving. And the fact that my mom still cries every night thinking that she's never good enough for someone to love her at her weakest, makes me want to cry too but instead, I stand strong for her, for both of us. It still hurts tho, but that doesn't stop me from working my butt off 24/7 and to get that diploma by March 2018.

I was doodling some nonsense drawings on the back of my journal while our teacher was explaining our course outline for first grading. I started writing down my plans for this month and whatever kemeruts I want to do, but of course, rule # 1: acads before lakads.

Rule #1: Acads Before Lakads

I really do enjoy studying until I get enough. Especially when it's before a gala? Uunahin ko muna gawin thesis ko bago kami tumambay kung saan namin gusto nila Claui at Jaja (Janina's nickname). Goal namin this year is to be part of the honor roll or top 10, rather. Kaya, laban lang! Kapit, bisig! ;-)

Rule #2: Grades Before Babes

Ain't nobody got time fo ya, boiz! Weh, Sophie? Kanina nga, curious na curious ka kung sino yung kausap ni Claui eh. Don't me. Don't you. Okay, fine. Pwede magkaron ng crush, kaso hanggang crush lang. 'Pag umabot ito na i-crush ni crush yung heart mo, proceed to rule #3!

Rule #3: No Boys Allowed

Dating is only a matter of wasting time, sleep - eat - read nalang with da gurls, mas mabuti pa! I don't need a man coz I got myself + I love myself and I don't need anybody else. Weh, sino niloloko mo, Sophie? Paano 'pag binalikan ka ni Josh, ano gagawin mo?

My thoughts has been crazy for the past hour. Puro tanong. Napipilitan pa akong sumagot, hay.

Okay,  if that ever happens, I'll proceed to rule #4.

Rule #4: Calculate Before Going To a Date

Math is love, Math is life. Nabilang ko lahat ng pasensya ko nung kami pa ni Josh. Nabilang ko din mga araw kung gaano kami nagtagal. 5 months. 106 days. Matagal tagal din naman yun. But hey, a friendly date is okay. No more, no less.

10:40 AM

May 10 minutes pa naman till homeroom na naka-sched ng 10:50 - 11:50 am. Lunch time is at 12:10 - 12:50 pm tapos free time ko na, as SB President, from 1 - 3 pm. Every M, TH, F lang ako may free time, pwede naman ako umattend ng class kapag 'di ko bet mag free time. Masipag naman po ako mag-aral, pero today, I'll take a rest muna. Sapat na yung 3 hours na yun.

Medyo wala naman gagawin sa homeroom class so I hibernated on my desk for a while.

11:10 AM

It's homeroom time! Time to write out my plans on my journal. Wow, Dons. Kailan ka pa nagplano sa buhay mo? Bagong buhay na po ako ngayon, self. Last year ko na sa school na ito so I have to make the most out of it.

Goal #1: Ball is life, but school is lifer.

A good player must have good grades, goal ko makasama ulit sa honor roll. But this time, it wouldn't be the same without my best friend. Nakakapanghinayang talaga.

Goal #2: Worksheets Before Relationships

I remember talking to my parents about having a relationship.  They said that it's really gonna feel like magic the first time. But mine? I felt so electrified that it wanted me dead. Medyo bumaba grades ko nung Grade 10 ako kasi parang yung attention ko laging na kay ex girlfie. She said that we're better off as friends na lang and I'm cool with that. My mom told me to find an inspiration + a motivation, but I guess distraction pala ang nakuha ko nung una. Sa tamang panahon, Donny. Sa tamang panahon. God will provide.

Goal #3: Keep your friends close and your family closer + your faith stronger

I want this school year & year to be a memorable one since I got all that I need. My family and friends, the realest ones. They make everything better. Glory is all His, I believe. All our days are handled by Bro who brings joy to our lives. And I say Amen to that. :)

11:50 AM

I just finished writing on my journal, my goodness 40 minutes pala ang nasakop ko. Oh, well. May 20 minutes free time pa naman before mag bell for lunch time. I guess, I have to take a nap for a while.

As I was about to drift off to sleep, I felt a hand squeezed my left shoulder softly and began to speak,

"You still haven't changed since junior high, Donny. May I take a seat beside you?"

Can somebody pinch me? I must be dreaming.

I thought I'll never see her again, oh my goodness. Please don't haunt me.

Wow, double update today! You're all welcome. ;-) Char! I enjoyed writing this 2nd part of chap 3 kasi it's about the rules/goals Sophie and Donny wants to achieve or earn. May ganito pa ba nowadays like me? HAHAHA well, meron naman siguro. ;) Sino kaya itong "her" na sinabi ni Donny? Itutuloy. (feel free to vote + comment, guys!!)
