I woke up with the sound of the birds chirping and a cold breeze touching every inch of my skin. I really can't tell when was the last time I had a decent sleep without any distractions. With my eyes half-closed, I sat up then grabbed my phone from the bedside. Timecheck: 8:16 am

The room was filled with silence; soft snores and breathings were the noise you can hear. The large window served as the light for the massive spaced bedroom which had a good lighting.

I really am not a morning person, but if it wasn't for the man beside me, sleeping so soundly, how his facial features looked so close perfect while he's asleep makes my heart beat louder, making me admire him more, I will never get tired of this view.

I carefully shifted my position closer to Donny, whose back was facing me then hugged him from behind. Amoy baby, I muttered to myself as I sniffed on his shirt. After a few sniffs, my eyes started closing again since inaantok pa ako, then I felt his body turned now that he's facing me. "Good morning, my love.", he spoke. Pucha, his morning voice makes me wanna jump. "Maaga pa, tulog pa tayo.", he added while pulling me to his chest. By the sound of his heart beating, mas lalo pa ako nakatulog ulit. Ramdam na ramdam ko yung pag-tibok eh. Sana ganito na lang araw araw.

9:30 AM

"Wake up, lovebirds! We have guests arriving at lunch time.", Hannah jumped up and down on the bed causing me to throw a pillow at her. "Wake us up pag kakain na.", Donny groaned and hid under the blanket. "C'mon, lovebirds! Don't wait for Mom to go here and drag you both to wake up.", she laughed and started hitting us with the pillow I threw at her.

After some shenanigans, everyone was at the dining area to have breakfast.

"How was your sleep, hija?", Tita Maricel asked after taking a sip on her orange juice.

"Never felt so relieved after a countless of sleepless nights.", I giggled. "Thank you for bringing me here, Tita.", I added with a smile.

"No problem, hija. Feel at home, you're always welcome!", Tito A answered on behalf of Tita Maricel who gave me a big smile as well as Donny and his siblings.

"By the way, Tita Angeli, Tita Sharon, and company will be here by lunch time.", ate Ella said. I think na ito yung mga aunts and uncles + cousins nila. Ngayon pa ako nahiya.

"Will Mamu be here as well?", Solana asked.

"Yes, Sola. Our entire clan.", ate Ella answered, then Benj, Solana, and Hannah gave out excited sayings and stuffs about their plans. I was just listening while eating then I felt a hand on my lap. I looked at Donny and gave him a small smile, then placed a hand on top of his.

"I'll introduce you to them later, don't be nervous.", he whispered, and gave my hand a squeeze.

After eating, everyone got busy arranging the place. Tita Maricel told me na it's okay na kahit huwag na ako tumulong pero I insisted. After an hour or two, I felt tired. Kulang pa ata ako ng tulog.

"Dons, wake me up in an hour. Pahinga lang ako saglit.", nagpaalam ako kay Donny before heading upstairs sa room. "Okay, sleep tight.", was his response.

I don't know why but as I lied down, 'di rin ako nakatulog. My thoughts are eating me. Donny's relatives will be here in an hour and I don't know what to feel. What if they don't like me for Donny? What if yung gusto nila yung tipong mala-Danielle Flores na maganda, sexy't lahat na habang ako, mukhang patatas na walang-wala kay Danes. I'm so nervous. What if his girl cousins would secretly talk behind my back? Chill, Sophie. Feeling mo lang yan. Wala pa nga eh. Your thoughts will say otherwise. I tried calming myself down pero parang walang use. As I was about to doze off, biglang may pumasok sa room.
