Hey, everyone! Before I start, I'd just like to thank Kelly for organizing yet another fabulous Wattpad event. I am honored to be included once again! Thanks, Kelly!

I'm @KanyeInterruptedMe (and if you know who Taylor Swift and Kanye West are, then you can understand the reference), also known as Kimber Lee, and finally, as Procrastinator Extraordinaire. I'm a Wattpad Ambassador and Wattpad Star, which just means that if you cut me, I bleed orange. (Please don't, though.) This time around, I've decided to share a character interview of two of my favorite characters, Jake Ford and Maya Fenton, from my 2016 Watty award-winning book, Jake the Panty-Ripper. Some questions have been asked by readers, and some are arbitrary questions, but I hope you enjoy them! Please don't forget to enter my giveaway and stand a chance to win something ridiculous!

1. What is your favorite animal?

Jake: Dogs, definitely. They're as loyal as bikers.

Maya: I've always wanted a cat. They're adorable.

Jake: [snorts] A dog will wake you up if there's a fire. A cat will slink out the window and move next door.

Maya: Do you have to be so morbid?

2. What was the first tattoo you've had and why is that the design?

Jake: First tattoo I ever got was the grim reaper holding a skull - the club's insignia - when I turned 18. I stupidly got it done on my right bicep, which hurt like hell. Ghost kept asking if I was sure I wanted it on my bicep and I kept saying, "Yeah, yeah, go ahead, man". Usually, you get the patch inked onto your back or even onto one pectoral, but I had been planning on getting angel wings done on my back, so I didn't want another tat there until I was sure I would have enough space. Long story short, I should've gotten it done on my back.

Maya: Moral of the story—Ghost is always right.

Jake: Not always.

Maya: Anyway, my first tattoo was done by the amazing man sitting right next to me. It's an open cage of doves. The doves represent the loved ones I've lost. I like to think that they're at peace, and that's always what doves have symbolized for me.

3. What is your biggest fear?

Jake: Losing my family.

Maya: Same goes for me. I can't imagine what I'd do without them.

4. Android or Apple?

Jake: Neither. Smoke signal.

Maya: You're ridiculous. Apple.

5. What is your favorite thing about your partner?

Jake: There are too many damn things for me to name. Yeah, Maya's hot as hell and all that, but she's the kindest, most selfless person I know. You should see her at her job. She doesn't talk down to the old folks, she's patient, and you can see they love her. I love that about her. I love everything about her.

Maya: Damn it. He had to go all cute and cheesy, and here I am, about to say that I just really, really love his filthy mouth.

Jake: That's all I'm good for, huh?

Maya: Well, I mean, if I had a gun to my head and had to choose... [laughs] I'm kidding, okay? Stop looking at me like that.

6. What's your favorite food?

Maya: Ooh, can I answer first? Jake is the best cook I've ever met. His pasta sauce is out of this world. It's my favorite thing.

Jake: She's the only person I cook for. Not including our kids. The outside world is too unworthy to be blessed with my gift.

Maya: [rolls eyes]

7. What did you want to be when you were younger?

Jake: An artist. The one thing I was really, really awesome at was drawing, sketching, painting—anything that had to do with creating a story without words. As a kid (and for a while, as an adult), words were my enemy. The only things that made sense were numbers and pictures—and I wasn't about to wear a suit and tie and hold a calculator for the rest of my life. Things kinda worked out pretty well for me. I'm a tattoo artist and I make custom bikes. That's art in its rawest form.

Maya: I wanted to be a doctor. Both my parents were in the medical field, and I loved helping people, so it was the only thing that made sense. Of course, I ended up being a nurse, but that's perfectly fine with me. I love my job.

8. When did you first realize that you were falling for your partner?

Jake: Falling for her? Ѕhit. I don't think I even realized it until it was too late! But hey, I knew I was in love with this woman when she showed up to visit me in prison with her Dove soap. It had been so long since I'd seen her and just like that, I knew exactly why I couldn't ever be with her. She was just too good for me. She still is.

Maya: Not the soap story again! Well, I think I was crushing on him hard when I was a pre-teen. Probably in that teenage-crush-on-Harry-Styles kind of way. I honestly can't say when the exact moment was, but Jake was a sweetheart to me after he got out of jail (even though he annoyed the hell out of me!) and just kind of grew on me. The first time I sort of felt something strong for him was probably that moment he brought my car back to me and tried to tell me he felt something for me, too. It was like my chest was burning or something and it freaking scared me! And the fact that he might have felt the same at that moment? I just got scared. But hey, read our book to find out.

9. What's the best thing about parenthood?

Jake: When the kids are asleep? Nah, I'm kidding. Honestly, the best thing about parenthood is that I get to do it with the woman I love. [pauses] Why is it that everything I say always have a double meaning?

Maya: I swear, Jake. You need help. For me, the best thing about parenthood is the fact that I get to be there for these little beings I call my children. They depend on me, they love me, they call me Mommy, and for me, there's no greater blessing than that.

10. Maya, any advice for all the girls falling for bad boys just like you?

Maya: Don't just jump into a relationship because you want to take a walk on the wild side, or because you'd like to experiment. There's a huge difference between falling for a guy who smokes all the time, and falling for a guy who happens to have dead bodies buried in his backyard. Know what you're getting into from the jump and know that just because someone loves you, doesn't mean he (or she) will change. It's up to you to decide if you can accept that.
