I hope you've enjoyed the Block Party so far. I am stoked to be able to participate in the Third Annual Winter Block Party. Thank you Kelly Anne for letting me be a part of this event again! I always look forward to the Block Parties because I get to discover new favorite authors and read genres I normally wouldn't.
The story I am featuring this round is called War Against Love (a.k.a WAL). A little cheesy, but it's my first attempt at a romance novel. The story closely follows three main characters – Eva, Jack, and Edward. It's a historical fiction piece that takes place in the United States of America during the late 1920's.
Below, I've included pictures in order to try and give you a glimpse of the world I created for Eva, Jack, and Edward. Along the way, I'll include a few tidbits about the story. I hope you enjoy!
The Manor:
The main characters in WAL come from wealthy families and are considered high up on the social ladder. This story comes a few years before The Great Depression that America experienced in 1929. It was a time when people of great wealth lost everything and had to restart their lives.
