"Ma'am, when was the last time you saw your daughter?" The officer asked, and I swallowed hard, trying to think.

"About 5 this morning. I got up with my husband, and we checked on all the kids, then I went back to bed." I replied, and the officer nodded, as he wrote down some stuff.

"Alright, why don't you go wait in the living room, and we are going to look to find anything." He replied, and I nodded slowly.

I sat in the living room, my body and mind completely numb from what had happened. I heard the door open quickly, and I got up quickly and looked at Elliot with tear filled eyes.

"Someone took her. I'm scared." I breathed, and Elliot quickly came to me and held me close as I cried.

"We'll find her." He breathed, and I nodded against his chest, but I was so freaking scared that she wasn't going to come home, or that she was going to get hurt.

---

We waited by the phone, waiting for someone to call, but the call didn't come the first night. The kids were extremely upset, and so were we, but we needed to act brave and hide what we were feeling so they wouldn't get even more upset. It was a week before we heard anything.

"Hello?" Elliot breathed as he answered the phone.

"Yes, um we will be there in a few minutes." Elliot replied, and I looked up from the laundry that I had been folding.

"What's wrong?" I asked quickly.

"They think they found something."

"Found what?" I breathed as Elliot tossed me my coat. At this moment I was thankful the kids were at school.

"They wouldn't tell me. Just come on."

---

We drove to the address, and the area was taped off, and I looked and saw our crew there.

"They were assigned to this?" I breathed, and Elliot swallowed hard and nodded.

"She's a high propriety." Elliot replied and I nodded slowly. We both climbed out and walked slowly over to the tape, and an officer stopped us.

"Sorry, this is a crime scene." He spoke, placing a hand in front of us, and I shook my head.

"I'm Detective Benson, and this is Detective Stabler. The girl is our daughter." I replied, and he nodded and quickly let us in.

"Fin, what did you find?" Elliot asked, as he held my arm to keep my steady on the unlevel ground.

"Serena's clothing." Fin replied, and I swallowed hard.

"Blood? Hair? Prints?" Elliot breathed, his grip on my arm tightening.

"Hair and some of her prints. We haven't found blood, so it's a good thing. We are getting cameras from all around to see if we can find her." Nick spoke, as he stepped forward. I turned into Elliot, tears running down my cheeks, and he held me.

"Call us again, please. We need to get our daughter home." Elliot breathed, and Fin nodded.

"She'll be home soon. We are trying out best to find her." Fin replied, and he gently rubbed my back.

"Liv, don't worry. She'll be home soon."

---

Every night that week, I had horrible nightmares. I saw Serena's funeral. Or I saw her locked in a cellar, my little girl crying. I hated these dreams, and I hated to see my two year old out there, completely scared and possibly hurt.

"Momma, the phone is ringing." Emily breathed as she brought the phone into my room one night. Elliot was at work, and I was alone with the kids. I grabbed the phone and quickly answered it.

"Benson."

"Babe, get the kids. I need you at St. Joseph's as soon as possible." Elliot replied, excitement in his voice.

"You found her?"I said quickly.

"She's here. I can't keep my eyes off of her."

I hung up and quickly climbed out of bed.

"Em, go wake up Noah." I spoke as I started to grab clothes to pull on.

"Why?" She replied.

"They found Serena. We need to go."

---

Serena had been in a deep sleep when we had arrived. She looked so much smaller than she actually was, and he once dark brown hair had been dyed blonde. I reached her side, and gently caressed her cheek, just wanting to make sure she was really there.

Her eyes fluttered open slowly, and she smiled largely at me.

"Momma! You found me!" She squealed, and I pulled her into my arms, holding her close.

"Did you ever doubt it, Rena? Your Uncles worked hard to find you." I breathed, and she looked up at me.

"Where is Emily? Noah?" She questioned.

"They are outside with Daddy. I can get them." I breathed, and she shook her head and held onto me.

"Can you stay?" She asked, and I nodded quickly.

"Yes, of course. I never plan on being away from you ever again."

---

Serena had been taken by a woman so desperate for a child. She had been following us, and waited till Elliot and the kids were gone to take her. I should have know that someone was following us, since I could feel someone watching us. Someone following us.

"Elliot, I should've known." I breathed, as we stood outside of Serena's hospital room, as we watched her play with her stuffed animals, actually letting Noah and Emily join her.

"Should've known what, Liv?" he questioned, and I turned to look at him.

"I could feel someone watching us. I never knew if it was just me being paranoid, or if I'm just being overly protective since I'm very emotional, or what." I breathed, and Elliot gave me a gentle smile.

"Baby, you couldn't have prevented this. She's back here, and that is all that matters. She's still herself. She was asking about the baby." he smiled, before placing a hand on my swell and I looked into the room and sighed.

"I just hope she forgets this. I don't want her to ever have to think about this again."

"Well, there is some exciting things coming up. Amanda having her baby, and you having ours. She's going to be busy." He smiled and then he leaned in and kissed me gently. I sighed.

"I don't know. I'm nervous." I mumbled.

"Don't be. I promise that we are going to be okay. Hopefully you won't need anymore saving, or any of us will." He laughed, and I laid my head on his shoulder, praying that he was right, I didn't want to be saved anymore.
