Out Of My Limit:
Jc's POV••
You gotta love Mexico. Especially Acapulco, Mexico. The food, the music, the culture, everything.Especially when you see the girl. The girl who isn't like any other girl, that girl who you instantly wanna have, wait no, the girl you need to have.
It all started when I arrived, Thursday. I arrived to the hotel where I was staying for the next 3 weeks or so.
So, the cab pulled up to the hotel and I went in the hotel to the registration desk and found a girl, sitting on a chair, her feet propped up on the counter, the ray bans covering her eyes, obviously asleep. I stood their looking at her. Her long hair was a dark purple, normal purple and a lilac color. Her skin was a nice tan and a small earring in her eyebrow and on her nose, her chest slightly rising.
"Um, excuse me." I said but she didn't wake up
"Excuse me?" I said a little louder but she kept on sleeping
I was about to speak again when I heard a voice talk over me
"Adela!! Tememos visitantes!!"
"Yea, I'll attend to them."
I turned around and saw Adela standing up and straightening her red flannel shirt.
"Yes?" she asked irritated
"Reservation for one." I said
"No surprise there." she muttered softly but I could still hear her
"What did you say?" I asked her, getting kind of mad myself.
"Oh nothing." she said pulling a quick fake smile and then a frown.
We stood in awkward silence as she clicked around the computer.
"Okay here is your room key, I shall be carrying your stuff to your room." she said handing me the key to the room.
"No need, I can carry them myself." I said grabbing my luggage
"Whatever." she said and returned to her position.
"Oh and by the way, I love that floyd tattoo of yours." I said winking at her as she pulled up her tank top to cover the tattoo.
"Pervert." she yelled and I just laughed walking to the elevators.
So that's how I met Adela aka the girl. But how I actually had a conversation with her is a different story. So, after a day of exploring Acapulco, I stumbled upon a club. The bouncer didn't even give me a second glance and let me through.
Just my luck.
I went to the bar and sat on a stool and looked at the crowd. Most of the people were dancing to a fast beat spanish song. I kept my eyes moving and focused on a particular purple headed girl. She was laughing, swaying her hips back and forth and her hands in the air, wearing a tight dress. She looked absolutely stunning. But what really caught my attention was the guy that was with her. I made my way over to her and said,
"It's nice to see you again rainbow hair." forcing a smile.
Her eyes widened when she saw me.
The last time I saw her that day was at lunchtime and she threw a piece of pizza to my face because I was being "annoying."
"Que haces?" she said through gritted teeth
"I'd like to ask you the same." I said smirking at her and crossing my arms across my chest.
"Who is he?" asked the guy who was dancing with her
Before she could open her mouth, I said
"Her boyfriend."
She looked at me, her mouth wide open.
"Darling, close your mouth, you'll catch flies." I said smiling at her and looked at the guy dead serious before flicking my head for him to leave and he did.
Wow, I didn't think that would work.
I was still amazed when Adela grabbed my hand and dragged me to the corner of the club.
"Why did you say that?" she hissed
"Because I can."
"Can you stop being arrogant and cocky por un minuto." she said tugging at her hair
"Slow down there princess, I like this pretty hair of yours." I said taking a strand and twisting it.
"This is what I'm talking about!! You never take anything enserio and you're so self absorbed and you're always making comments and making fun of me and you send so much mixed signals, one minute you embarrass me and the next you go all caveman and I just wanna leave but I can't and I just keep coming back because those ojos de caramelo keep popping up and I really like you but-"
I stopped her by putting my hand over her mouth and leaning in very close.
"did you just say....you like me?" I asked grinning at her. She paled and slowly nodded.
I smiled and dropped my hand and grabbed her face gently and kissed her slowly, not wanting to leave the taste of her lips.
"I like you too." I said looking into her eyes and she smiled.
And that was that.
I had to go back to America, we promised to keep in touch, but we didn't keep our promises. Every night I spend wondering how she's doing and what she's doing and if she still remembers me or even thinks of me.
But everybody knows when a girl is out of your limit, you can't have her. And Adela is one of those girls.
She is out of my limit.
