They Don't Know About Us:

Your POV••

I had just finished slipping on my shoes when I heard a tapping at my window right at 1:30. I smiled to myself as I opened the window, swung myself to the garden wall next to my window and closed it before jumping off the vine covered wall.

"You are always on time." I whispered to Ricky as I walked over to him and kissed him.

"Always." he said repeating the words as he tugged me along his side. This was our usual thing. Sneaking out late at night and taking strolls and being extra careful that one saw us. We walked our usual route, down the sidewalk being protected by the tree's shadows. I was going to make the right into the next neighborhood when Ricky grabbed my hand.

"What?" I asked confused, looking at him

"Tonight, we're going to my house." he said dragging me in the other direction.

"But what about the guys?" I asked pulling away from his grip

"They're out until tomorrow night." he reassured me. I stood there debating for a minute if I should or shouldn't because Ricky's friends don't know that Ricky and I are dating. They don't even know Ricky is dating. Neither did my friends or my parents.

"Fine." I sighed giving in. He smiled one of his big smiles that always melts my heart.

This time when we walked, it was more lit up. The street lamps shined down on us and so did every other neon sign and car headlights. Even though for a Tuesday night, there were a lot of persons out. Some were waiting to get into a club that's music was playing loudly or others were waiting for the bus or some were just walking, minding their own business. It was a pretty long walk from my small quiet neighborhood to Ricky's apartment in the never sleeping city.

"are you sure they're not here?" I asked as Ricky took out his keys and started unlocking the door.

"And if they are, I don't care. I love you and they can't change anything I think about you." he said pecking my lips. We walked into the apartment and I heard the barking of a dog.
Running towards Ricky and I was the cutest cocker spaniel I've ever seen. It jumped up and licked my hand, happily wagging it's tail back and forth.
"Aw, who's this little fella?" I cooed and crouched down to pet it's head, smelling my hand.
"His name is whatever you want it to be. He's the reason why I forced the boys to leave the house for the night just so you could come over." Ricky said smiling.
I looked over at him, my mouth opened in surprise.
"Ricky! You didn't have to! But since you already did I'm keeping him." I said and heard him laugh.
We were playing with the little pup when we heard someone clear their throat. It seemed like Ricky and I froze but the puppy went barking up to whoever was in the room.
Looking up I saw Connor, standing at the front door, a smirk on his face.
"Hi Connor." I greeted and before Ricky could say anything, he spoke up.
"I knew it! Kian now owes me 30 dollars and Sam owes me 20." He said and plopped down on the lovers seat.
"What?" Ricky asked confused.
"We all knew about your 'secret' relationship so Kian bet that you guys weren't dating, Sam bet that you guys would come out and I said that you'll keep a secret. I now get 50 dollars." he explained, a big grin on his face.
Ricky and I were too stunned and the little puppy nudged at our legs to get us out of our trance.
"Next time be more secretive." Connor said before turning on the tv.
