Jc's POV••
The first thing I heard when I walked in was the strumming of a guitar. It was a beautiful melody followed by a beautiful voice, as if an angel was singing from above.
My curiosity got the best of me and I left my suitcases as I followed the beautiful sound. It was coming from the bedroom. I quietly opened the door and saw her sitting on the bed, a black acoustic guitar sitting on her lap, her brown hair in the way.
"When you walk away I count the steps that you take, do you see how much I need you right now?" she sang closing her eyes and opening them again
"When you're gone, the pieces of my heart are missing you." She sang and I immediately knew what song it was.
"When you're gone, the words I need to hear always get me through the day, I miss you." I closed the door and it creaked.
She turned her head my way and kept on playing the chords to the song.
"I never felt this way before. Everything that I do, reminds me of you." I couldn't help but think that this song was for me.
"And they smell just like you. I love the things that you do." She said letting a tear fall.
This song was directed to me.
"When you walk away I count the steps that you take. Do you see how much I need you right now?" I sang, joining in. I walked over to her and sat next to her on the bed, tucking the piece of her hair behind her ear.
"When you're gone, the pieces of my heart are missing you, and when you're gone, The face I know is a missing too. When you're gone, all the words I need to hear always get me through, the day and make it okay. I miss you." we sang and before I could even open my mouth she sang the verses that made me break down along with her.
"We were made for each other, out here forever, I know we were, yeah. And all I wanted was for you to know, Everything I'd do, I'd give my heart and soul, I can hardly breath I need to feel you here with me, yeah." and I stopped her by gently tugging her fingers away from the guitar strings.
We just sat there. I can't believe I'm sitting in front of this girl who I truly love. I never knew that love was so powerful that it hurt when you aren't with that special person. That you'd do anything for them and find your way through the dark and pass everysingle conflict that crosses us. Never did I thought that I would be coming home from tour and find this angel like human being in front of me, playing this song that describes us. She didn't look like those girls every boy wants. Her simple brown eyes and freckles that were scattered across her face was beyond beautiful than anyone else.
"I missed you." I finally said breaking the silence.
A quiet sob escaped her lips and she wrapped her arms around my neck.
"I love you." she mumbled in my neck.
"I love you." I said back.
