Track••

Kian poked you for what seemed for the 100th time.

"Are you even alive?" he asked and poked your face again. You remained motionless and silent. It was Saturday in the middle of the day and you have not gotten up. At first Kian thought you were tired and needed to sleep in late but after lunchtime he started to get worried.
You on the other hand was feeling plain lazy. You had zero motivation for nothing and did not want to leave the comfort of the cotton blanket. It was the last semester and you had exam after exam, project after project and when you didn't have exams or projects, you had a boatload of homework, and you only spent your free time working at a small diner as a waitress or studying, sometimes both. Your muscles ached and the hot showers that once helped have zero effects on your tense body.

"Go away Kian. My body hurts." you groaned at him and rolled over, pulling the blanket over your head. You heard no noise or movement so you assumed that he had listened to you for once and left, but you were wrong.

"Is it that time of month again?" he asked, "Do you need those blood stoppers?" he asked again.

"No Kian. I am not on my period. If I was I would be stuffing my face." you replied not moving. The room was silent again except for Kian rummaging through something. You started to doze off again when someone removed the blanket and the coldness hit you.

"C'mon, get up." Kian said stripping the bed from the blankets and pillows.

"We're going for a run."

You groaned and didn't move. You were in no mood for physical exercise, considering all you have done the past week was moving.

"Y/N, if you don't get up. I, myself will undress you and put on your workout clothes and brush your teeth if I have to." he threatens. You just grunted.

"Okay, I warned you." he said and you felt someone take off your left sock and then your right. Then you felt Kian's hand on the top of your fluffy pajama pants and pull them down to your ankles and off your feet. You just whined and reached for a blanket when he took it away.

"Nope." he simply replied. Then you felt him grab the hem of your shirt and pull it up and over your head.

"Do I change your bra into a running bra?" he asked and you felt his fingertips on your back. This time you sat up and got out of the bed once you realised he was being serious about dressing you.

"Okay I'm up, no need for that run." you said.

"Oh no, we're going for that run. Now go and get dressed. I'll be waiting downstairs with food."
Kian was already wearing his black sweatpants and a hoodie. You just stuck your tongue out at him before changing into blue running shorts and a black sweatshirt. You brushed your hair and put it into a ponytail and brushed your teeth. You took your time to descend down the stairs and reach Kian who had made oatmeal.

"Here, it's good for you." he said. You grunted and ate your oatmeal slowly chewing and counting your bites.

"C'mon, let's go." he said grabbing your hand and pulling you out the door.

The whole ride to the track, you were silent and still eating your bowl of oatmeal, the music of the radio filling the silence. When you guys arrived to the track, you refused to get out if the car until Kian had to carry you out.

"Are you ready?" he asked when you guys were at the beginning line of the track.

"No." you said and was turning around to go back to Kian's car when he grabbed your hand and pulled you to his side.

"This will help." he said kissing your forehead. "I promise." Then he started jogging, not letting go of your hand. You began jogging next him, going faster when he picked up pace. He finally let go and you started to run ahead of him. Your legs started to burn and you were short on breath but you didn't stop. You kept on running until you felt numb from your legs and felt like no one could catch you, like you were in your own little world. You were running another lap and saw Kian walking ahead and you pushed yourself more until you reached him.

"You can do it." you said to him grabbing his hand.

"Last one to finish is a loser." you told him before running again. Your feet slammed against the black track and you looked back and saw Kian was right behind you. You pushed yourself even more but Kian having long legs passed you and finished first. You reached the end and you were panting. You fell in one of the lanes, feeling your blood pulse through your vines.

"Get up. You have to walk so your muscles won't tighten." he said reaching his hand out. You grabbed it and pulled him down on top of you. People who were also on the track gave you guys looks but you didn't notice.

He leaned down and kissed you straight in the middle of the of the track.

"Told you it would help." he said before pulling you up and walking the track together hand in hand.
