This Time

Chapter ten

A few weeks passed really quickly. Hunter and I hung out almost everyday. Zoe still gave me looks, Emily and James were the same and Mae and Ben recently started dating? Im so happy for them!

-Last period on Friday-

"Psst! Lea, wana watch a movie tomorrow?" Hunter whispered

"Wheree?" I replied quitely

"Ben's place. We can watch movies then play some games?"

"Uh, I'll have to see" I was not sure if my mum would let me

After the last period I went for the yearbook meeting. There, we had to design the cover photo.

"Should we put this picture here?" Mae asked as she pointed at one of the photos

"Um, it looks decent"

"Decent is not good enough" and she looked for another.

"Hey Mae, you wana watch a movie tomorrow?" I ask

"Oh cool! Where?" She said excitedly

"Ben's house"

"Oh Ben's place" and she started to blush

"When did Ben ask you out by the way?" a huge smile crept up my face

"Well, he didnt ask. We just sort of got together" she was as red as a tomato

I gigled, then we went back to work.

-Saturday morning-

"BEEEEEP BEEEEP!" The sound of the car woke me up

"Leaaaaaa! Your friends are outside" shouted my mum

I got out of bed, changed and got in Ben's car. Hunter was already there.

"Hey sweetie" and he peaks my forehead

"Hey Lea" Ben said softly

"Hey guys, lets go pick Mae up"

When we got to Mae's place she was already standing outside.

"Wow she looks so pretty today aye Ben?" I said as I turned my head to him

"Hm"

Mae got in the car.

"Hello everybody, I got some snacks" she said cheerfully

"Kay cool" said Ben

And we drove off to Ben's place. When we got there, the first thing we took a tour around his house.

"What movie should we watch?" I asked the others

"Um.. I dont know. I dont have much" Ben replied

"OOOHH, what's this?" Hunter pointed at The Notebook

"You haven't watched that?" I asked shockingly

"Nope, what is it about?" Hunter was clueless

"I haven't watched that either" said Mae

"Okay then, we shall watch it" and Ben put the disk in

Though I watched The Notebook a thousand times, I still cried. I saw Ben, Mae and Hunter crying too. Ben and hunter didnt make sound their tears kept rolling down. Mae was full on grabbing tissues to wipe her tears. It was quite funny to wach them.

After the movie we played connect four, twisters and monopoly. It all got abit boring so we decided to play Truth or Dare.

"Mae, truth or dare?" I asked

"Truth"

"Okay, is it true that Ben is your first boyfriend?"

"No"

"Ben?" I asked again

"Dare" he replied

"Hm, I dare you to call the most good looking guy you know"

Suddenly Hunter's phone started ringing.

"OHH!" Mae and I said.

Hunter reaches for his phone.

"Hello?" said Hunter

"Oh okay, I'll be there" he replied to the caller and ended the call

"Wasnt that Ben calling?" I asked

"No, it was my dad" he stood up and went to get his stuff

"Ben, who were you calling then?" asked Mae

"I was calling myself" Ben said with a small grin on his face

"Oh" and we all started laughing

My phone rings.

"Hey mum"

"Hey honey, Im sorry to disturb you but can you come to the French restaurant in town" she said

"Oh. Okay sure thing" and I ended the call

"Hey guys I have to go somewhere" said Hunter

"Me too, Im sorry" I said

"Is everything okay?" Ben asks

"Yeah. No worries! I'll see you on Monday aye?" Hunter replied

"Lea I'll drop you" Hunter added

"Nah, its okay. I'll go by myself"

We both went outside. I caught a cab to the only French restaurant in town. When I got there I looked for my mum. She was standing outside.

"Come on lets go the washroom" she said

When we got to the washroom she handed me a beautiful white dress.

"Put it on"

"Okay, what is this for mum?"

"Just put it on" she replied

Later we walked out of the washroom. Mum lead me to a table. A man was already waiting for us. He looked so damn famillar, but I couldnt figure out who he was.

"Oh. You're here! Wow you have grown up to be so beautiful" the strange man said

Then from behind a famillar voice said

"Sorry Im late!"

I turned around and saw that it was Hunter.

"Hey Hunter!" I was surprised

"What are you doing here?" he asked me

That guy was Hunter's father! No wonder! I haven't seen him in ages.

"We've asked you two to come here because we have something important to tell you" said Hunter's dad

"Yes. Hunter please take a sit" my mum said warmly

Hunter sat across me. He was wearing a tux, he looked so adorable.

"Hunter? Lea?" said Hunter's dad as he stood up

He walked towards my mum.

"We're getting married" they both said
