Most of the police and investigators stayed at the house still working. Demi, Max, and I were going to the hospital to see y/n. Demi’s car was in front of mine and I was following her because I didn’t know where the Ryder’s hospital was.

We arrived at the hospital. Demi and I parked our cars and went inside.

We came up to this receptionist counter.

“Hi, how may I help you?” the receptionist lady asked.

                “We’re here for y/n yl/n.”I said.

“Hm…” she said looking through a list. “The one with amnesia?”

Demi and I looked at each other confused. Max looked pretty confused himself.

“Amnesia?” Demi asked with a confused tone.

“Yes, she had a bit of brain damage due to her accident. This triggered one of the parts of her brain that controls the memory to dysfunction. She was immediately treated in the ER when she arrived, but she is resting in a regular room now.” the receptionist explained.

“Are you talking about the girl who just came in about an hour ago?” I asked to make sure.

“Yes, yf/n yl/n. Am I correct?” the lady asked. I sighed and nodded. “She’s currently in room 412, third floor.”

                “Thank you.” Demi said.

We rushed to the elevator. I hit the ‘3’ button like ten times.

“I didn’t know y/n had amnesia from the incident.” Max said his voice shaking.

“We didn’t either. Is it really that serious?” Demi said.

“Trey must’ve hit her in the head really hard or something.” Max said.

“I am so sick of that name.” I muttered.

“Don’t worry, the police are after him. He’s going to jail, thank god.” Demi said.

“I just feel like I need to get revenge so bad for what he did to her.” I said leaning against the elevator walls.

“Listen, y/n’s the one who needs our attention the most right now, not him. Let’s just focus on her and only her right now.”

I looked at Demi and nodded. “You’re right.”

The elevator doors opened and we ran down the halls to Room 412. The hospital didn’t look as creepy as I imagined it.

We found Room 412 and the door was closed. Two nurses were talking and writing stuff down right outside the door. We walked towards them. They looked up and saw us and we shook hands.

“Hello nice to meet you. Are you here for y/n?” one of them asked.

“Yes, can we see her?” Demi asked.

“Not until I have the doctor’s permission. I’ll inform him that you’re waiting right now. What is your relationship to y/n?”

“We’re her friends, Demi and Justin.” I said. “And this is her brother, Max.”

“Alright, thank you. Excuse me.” the nurse said and went inside.
