THREE WEEKS LATER…
It was finally the day I get out of the hospital. I was beginning to get sick of it here. No pun intended, haha.
Through these past couple weeks, a few significant things have happened.
I completely understood the story about myself from when I was born to where I am now, as well as the story of how I got here. I didn’t get too emotional because I still can’t remember a thing, but I’m glad I can’t remember that awful experience.
I was finally able to video chat with my mother and a few relatives, and Bruno, who said he would be coming home in time for Christmas; mom would be coming home around New Years.
Demi, Justin, and Max came to visit daily, as they always did, which I appreciated. Justin brought Selena along most of the visits, but on the few days where she wasn’t here, everyone was really happy, especially Demi haha. A few of my other friends came to visit too, like Fredo. Some of Justin’s friends visited me to wish me well too, and even though I had no clue who these people were, I appreciated it and we all became good friends. Their names were Ryan and Chaz, Scooter, Za, and Justin’s mom, Pattie.
The nurses helped me change into my regular clothes since a few parts of my body were still weak. Demi and Max came to check me out and pick me up at noon. We thanked the hospital team who took care of me and left the room.
Demi, Max, and I were making our way down to the lobby. I had to use crutches, but at least I didn’t have to lie in a bed all day. Max helped me into the elevator, and Demi closed the doors.
“Excited?” Demi said smiling widely at me,
“Yeah! I can’t wait for your house, let alone my own.” I said with a laugh,
“My apartment’s just a simple one. Just me, and Max, and now you! We’re gonna be roomies!!! Kind of, haha!” Demi said excitedly. I laughed at her.
“Well, thank you for letting me stay there. I’d rather not be at Justin’s in the meantime.” I said managing a chuckle.
“Don’t worry, y/n. I got you back. I wouldn’t wanna stay there with that witch around,” Demi rolled her eyes.
“She doesn’t seem that bad, Demi,”
“Trust me, y/n. She’s just acting all nice for now. Just wait until she unleashes her inner devil,”
“I still can’t believe you, but ok,” I said and we walked to Demi’s car.
They helped in me into the backseat, which had more room for my crutches, and Demi started driving away to her house.
I thought of where Justin was. I didn’t want to ask because that would make me seem too nosy. The negative side of me thought: he’s probably on a date with Selena because she’s a greater priority than me. The positive side of me thought: he probably has a busy day being super famous and all, and it’s not right of me to consume too much of his time so much lately.
Demi looked at me through the front mirror. “Hey, whatcha thinkin y/n?”
I immediately dropped out of my gaze. “Huh, what? Oh, nothing. Nothing,” I said trying to keep my voice casual,
Demi parked in her drive way, which had a van parked right across from her car. Justin and Selena were standing by it.
Demi looked out her car window and groaned, and then she turned to Max.
