1 MONTH LATER…
y/n’s POV:
It’s been over a month now and my amnesia still hasn’t gone away yet! I’m beginning to get really worried, even though the doctors say that I have nothing to worry about.
Today I was out having lunch with Demi and Fredo.
“So did you hear? Justin might be going to Florida soon with Selena for a week,” Fredo said.
“Really? Why?” Demi asked.
“Well Selena’s got a few performances at a radio festival over there, and she wants Justin to come along,”
“Does Justin wanna go?”
“I doubt it, but we’ll see,”
“Why wouldn’t he wanna go?”
Fredo hesitated. “Imma tell you guys something alright? Don’t tell anyone, but one of the people in their relationship isn’t as happy as can be…” he hinted. He was obviously talking about Justin just the way he was looking at me.
“Justin?” guessed Demi.
Fredo nodded.
“I’m not really surprised, but why isn’t he happy?”
“Well, I mean… I think he’s happy, but he’s not as happy as before they got back together again, you know? When we hang out, I notice that almost everything he does with Selena is because she’s forcing him to do it. Like it sounds like she’s bossing him around and he doesn’t even realize it!”
“Poor guy… I never liked them together in the first place.” Demi said.
Fredo turned to me. “y/n, why so quiet?”
I refocused. “What?”
“I dunno, it looks like you were spacing out. What were you thinking about?”
“Wha—um. N-nothing.” I said shortly.
“She was thinking about Justinnnnn hehe,” Demi teased me. “I know that Justin can do waaaay better with y/n around rather than Selena, no offense,”
Almost all of my friends knew that I had a crush on Justin by now. They felt bad for me.
Fredo laughed.
“Well, what do you think?” I asked Fredo.
“What do I think what?”
“Do you ship Justin and Selena?”
“Uhhh…” he mumbled.
“We’re gonna take that as a no…” Demi chuckled.
“I mean, Selena seems nice I guess, but I don’t know. I don’t think Justin’s in his best relationship with the right person right now…” Fredo said.
“Ahem, I think she’s sitting right here, and he doesn’t even realize it!” Demi exclaimed, referring to me.
I blushed.
