the deluded ones [#2]

and it's the same old story again. a story of a girl who developed feelings for a boy that she knew she never had a chance with from the start. a story of a girl who still hoped to be able to take a chance. a story of a girl whose heart and mind conflict constantly at a time because, although they agree on how they feel, her heart tells her to be brave and let it go, but her mind refuses to.

and it's funny because everyone always says that your mind is what tells you to move on and that your heart tells you to hold on. and it's funny because they're wrong, at least when it comes to this storyline.

selfishness, it's a vice, and even the most selfless can attest that there are some things that they wish to be selfish about too.

and, for me, it's you.

but i can't be selfish, not with this. i can't be selfish if i want you to be happy.

and it's a sad story, but every story is sad for somebody.

and it's sad for me because it'll take me ten times as long as you to move on, but, as long as you're happy, it's okay. everything will be okay.
