and you once said you can't know the good without knowing the bad, and you were right.
i knew the good, i knew all of it. it lit me up in ways i never knew.
and now, i'm knowing the bad. and it'll be long before it is gone.
the summer days will grow shorter, the autumn breezes will grow colder, the winter ice will skid further, and the spring buds will become bolder.
but i will still be knowing the bad before it is over.
