my nights used to end so early. i used to fall asleep so early and drift off to a world that i'd always fail to remember when the day became light.

and then, you appeared. i'm unsure why our paths decided to realign and collide, but, since then, you've changed my life. i spend late nights even more tired than before, but i find myself smiling and laughing more as each minute passes by. you keep me up without really trying, and time seems to move so quickly that i lose track of it when i'm spending my time with you.

you make me happy. do you know that? does it mean anything?

but, ever since you said the words, your presence in my mind has only intensified. even as i do the simplest thing, you're there in the back of my mind with your bright smile and familiar face. you're in my thoughts ever so constantly, even when you're but a faded figure. do you know that? i don't think you do.

but you're there, more than ever before, and it's a little crazy.
