"That was great, Seb." I hear Kelsey say. I chuckle, having heard Sebs amazing piano banging piece. I hear the keys bang again. "Oh, not so hard. Why don't we use your piano." A moment later, I hear Sebastian's fake piano. I walk out of my room and out my newspaper on the counter, looking at them. Kelsey looks up.

"Oh my god, you have glasses?" She laughs.

"Yes, I don't wear them often." She must have had them in her backpack.

"Well, I like them."

"Thanks." Sebastian bangs his keys louder.

"I know, I know, I'm listening." I laugh and get a glass of water.

"Let me take this little one off your hands." I say, lifting him on my hip. "Vanessa's picking him up in-" the door opens.

"Give me the child." She says, walking in. I grab Kelsey's arm as she stand up, and push her over to Vanessa. "Ready for the doctor?" She asks. "If you're good they'll give you a lollipop."

"Oh, joy." She says as I give Vanessa Sebastian and a kiss on the cheek.

"Okay, I'll be next door for like five minutes if you need anything. Suicide is hopeless, I won't be that long." She rolls her eyes. "Feel free to use the piano because I tuned it yesterday. Bye." I start across the hallway to my neighbors condo. It takes less time than I thought it would for me to help her out. She's very short and has poor eyesight so I have to help her. When I get to the door of the apartment, I hear the piano. I didn't know for sure if she played. It's quiet from the hallway which I like because I play it so often. I walk in and she hears the door.

"What is that, Fame?" I ask, shutting the door. She nods, closing the sheet music. "Hey, I wanna hear it." I feel something catch the door before it shuts behind me.

"Me too." Tommy says, sliding in. I'd forgotten that he was coming.

"Me too what?" Kelsey laughs as Alex walks in.

"No." She says to me. I open the sheet music back up and pull her hands the the keys. She sighs.

"Seriously?"

"Yup. From there." I say, pointing to the notes I want her to begin at so that she will have to sing the song.

"You auditioned for us. No need to be afraid. Just forget that we're here, Kelsey." Tommy says. She nods and plays the notes...

"What the hell?! Why didn't you audition that? You've never sung like that!" Alex says. She shrugs, closing the sheet music.

"Hey, when you're all better, your spot is guaranteed. And if you audition that anywhere, your chances skyrocketed."

"Thanks." She says with a smile, standing up and closing the music, placing it with the other books.

"Kelsey?" She looks back at them. "We're really glad you survived." She smiles.

"I would hope that you wouldn't say you were upset that I did." But I doubt she would be surprised based on what she thinks other people think of her. "Thanks."

"Let's warm up for the thousands of hugs you're gonna get from the cast." I say.

"Not ready for that!" We ignore her and hug her anyways before she disappears to her room and we start working.

"How's she doing?" Tommy asks when none of us can avoid it anymore.

"How can I tell? She convinced us she was better. How do I know?"

"How do I know when she comes back to the show?"

"You're really letting her back?"

"Yeah. She'll cover peggy again too. She was amazing." I look at the piano. She really was. "But I can't know how she is."

"Well, there are warnings. She would distance herself and make sure that the show will be fine without her." Alex says.

"She stops using social media when she is really down so keep a close eye on her when she doesn't go on it for several days." I add.

"She gets rid of possessions and stops eating."

"She probably wouldn't spend much money because she wouldn't have a use for it."

"She drinks." Alex says. Tommy and I both look at him. I'm glass that these walls are thick so she can't hear us. "Carleigh told me. She drank a lot a few nights before and confessed when Carleigh saw her the next day."

"Great." I sigh.

"Carleigh doesn't know what to do now. She told me because she was worried after. I wanted to yell at her but she would know that she had told me."

"She's twenty. What are you gonna do?"
