Forty-seven

Kelseys POV
I wake up with Lins arm around me. My chest hurts and I immediately remember everything. I'm curled up, leaning against him. He notices that I'm awake and pulls me into a hug, giving me a kiss on the head before we both stand up. I can tell that he just woke up too, a few minutes ago because his eyes aren't fully open.

"Morning guys." Vanessa says, giving me a quick hug. Lin must have texted her or something about me crying. They kiss each other a good morning while I take Sebastian to his highchair.

"Breakfast?" Vanessa asks, walking behind the counter in the kitchen.

"Thanks but I'm good."

"I think you took the question part of that a little too serious. The question is eggs or cereal." I laugh.

"Cereal is good. I can make it, though."

"No worries. I'm getting some for Lin too."

"Thanks." I say, playing with Sebastian.

"So, maybe you would want to go by the theater tomorrow and see some of the cast? They miss you." Lin says, sitting across from me. I force a smile.

"Yeah, I miss them too." Vanessa sets down two bowls and we thank her.

"I'm headed to work. See you three later." She leaves us here, eating cereal.

"So during the show, do you mind watching Sebastian?"

"Yes I mind. I hate kids." I say, sarcastically because he knows that I love them. He laughs.

"The neighbors will be checking. Thanks."

"No problem."

"Your cereal is gonna get soggy."

"Right." I say, picking my spoon back up and taking a bite. I don't end up finishing it. I just play a game sorta thing with my spoon and my cereal. He leaves and I decide to put Seb in front if the TV and do the dishes. I'm kind if bored so I clean up. I wipe down the counter, fold the blanket, sweep, and all that stuff for a while. Then I play with Seb and put him in a playpen with some toys while I play piano. I get checked on and give Seb some lunch. It's not an eventful day. I put him down for a nap. Luckily, he naps a long time so I have some time to do whatever.

I do a bunch if schoolwork, planting Seb in front of the TV again when he wakes up. I take a break and play with him, put him back in the play pen, and do another chunk of work. The neighbors check in twice. Lin said I can't do school yet but I'm bored and I want to keep up with it. I did a bunch in my last few weeks to keep my mind busy. I'll be done quickly. It's not like college where you have the security of being on a campus and stuff. I'm already out there so I'm kinda in a rush to get it done. I clean up my stuff before Vanessa gets back and I help her out the groceries away.

She thanks me for watching Seb. They could have brought him to daycare but I'm probably less likely to kill myself while watching a kid, I guess. Besides, I had company.

Dinner is just us talking about current events and how we spent our days. I don't lie. She says that she won't tell Lin and that it's fine because I was probably bored all day. I thank her and take another bite of my dinner. I don't know how I feel about tomorrow. To get my mind off of it, I go on twitter and Instagram scrolling through. There's a lot of people that comment on my most recent post about the rumor of my attempted suicide, which is true. I even come across a small article that reads Hamilton cast member attempts suicide after leaving the show.

I barely look at it and just look at and like others posts.

I send Lin two pictures I got of Sebastian earlier and tell him that I hope the show is going well. He sends back a smiley face and a thanks a little while later.
