Papalapit na ng papalapit ang pagpunta ko sa Ilocos. Dahil don, mas naging busy ako sa mga sumunod na araw. Sunod sunod ang mga humahabol na meetings and projects. I can't get to turn them down dahil makakatulong sila sa kumpanya ko.

I'm planning to relax for one week when I get there. I need it. Feeling ko babagsak na ang katawan ko as stress at pagod.

I'm kinda relax kasi hindi sumusulpot si Ezekiel dito sa opisina ko. Relaxed but bothered. Sabi na nga ba, he's only after the bed. Of course, ano pa ba? I'm sure he'll stop now.

And when did I even start to care?

"Ma'am, lahat po ng mails na darating sa mga susunod na araw ay sa Ilocos ko na po pinaddress." Tinanguan ko si Alex sa sinabi niya. I'll be leaving by Monday so nasa timing lang.

"Thank you. Is there any other important things I need to know before I go?" Tanong ko. Tomorrow's Friday and Saturday's my last day here in Manila before I go. Hindi ko alam kung may nakaligtaan ba ko or ano.

"Maam, may last meeting ka mamayang hapon with the high executives. Then tomorrow maam, the Viego Industrial Incorporation is going to hold a meeting at 9 in the morning." Kumunot ang noo ko sa sinabi. Meeting?

"VII held an emergency meeting?" Tanong ko.

"Hindi daw po siya emergency. Hindi na po sa akin inemphasize ang details." Tumango ako bilang pagtugon. Wala naman akong gagawin for tomorrow since paalis na ko.

Nung maghapon hinanda ko ang sarili ko for the executives meeting. It went smoothly as I expected. Few weeks from now, I have to assign our partner for the project in Mindanao. I have to go there with my Engineers and Architects para mapagusapan.

Sa sumunod na araw, I wore black cullotes and black halter leather top. Nagheels na rin ako and I put some make up. Naisipan kong dumiretso na sa VII since I don't have works to do at the office.

It's exactly 8:50 when I parked my car. Pag akyat ko ay binati ako ng iilang kakilala. On my way to the meeting hall, a man greeted me.

"Ms. Adornado!" Nalaglag ang panga ko ng makita dito si Ezekiel. With him is Architect Sky Viego, the brother of the CEO.

Napilitan akong lumapit na sa kanila at nakipag ngitian. Sky look at me and smiled.

"Woah! You know each other?" Tanong niya. Ezekiel laughed heartily while I smiled.

"Well, who will not know this gorgeous lady in front of us!" Natawa ako sa bati niya. I shook my head.

Hindi ko alam kung bakit siya nandito. I mean, hindi ko pala alam kung anong irereact ko. Nagulat pa ko nung may humawak sa bewang ko at hinalikan ako sa pisngi.

"Engineer Adornado! I knew it you would come!" nakangiti ng masaya sa akin si Giovane Ryker Viego. He's on a gray suit and pants. Kumikinang ang isang hikaw niya sa tenga. I smiled and hugged him.

"Engr. Ryker! Long time no see!" I cheered.

"My secretary told me there's a possibility that you won't come. You're leaving again?" tanong niya. I nodded and laughed.

"You always leave Manila every summer." sabi ni Sky. Nakita ko naman ang kunot noong mukha ni Ezekiel. Yes, you haven't researched that much on me.

"I didn't know you're a stalker of mine, Architect."

Nagtawanan sila sa hirit ko. Napansin ni Ryker si Ezekiel na hindi tumatawa kaya medyo humina ang tawanan.

"Ah yes! Engineer, here's Architect Salazar, he's a board member. Hindi mo siya nakilala because you're on a vecation when he became one. Almost all of the boards voted for him." I nodded as well as I am stunned. I didn't know he is an Architect!
